Since there are no new movies releasing currently and limited movie news, I thought I’d bring back a series I was planning on doing much earlier this year which is studio report cards. In this series, we will be reviewing each major movie released by the major studios in 2019 and giving each film a grade based on how it was marketed, its reviews, audience response, awards and most importantly box office. Then we will average out all the individual films grades to give the studio overall a grade for how it performed in 2019.
There is no more fitting studio to start with than Disney accounting for 33% of the film industry’s market share without including Fox.
