Gauntlet Con 2019
This was my 3rd Gauntlet Con and I loved every moment of it. I played 10 or11 sessions and had a terrific time. One system wasn’t my preference but now I know. But even that game I played with a couple of great people who such a pleasure. I love the podcasts the zine but mostly the community.

Top Notch Hosts
The hosts of this RPG podcast are the bees knees. They are smart, funny, and really care about playing games. And they actually play the games they talk about, with their listeners too!

RPG heaven: So. Many. Games.
My favorite podcast community. This is the flagship podcast which has a rotating cast of hosts, all of which I've come to love closely. They cover the RPG hobby, specifically from the perspective of small press and indie RPGs, so you get an amazing spread of games, opinions, and in-depth perspectives on play and design. Fabulous.

Expands your gaming world
The greatest gaming podcast to expand your gaming world. They love "trad" classic RPGs, and they love experimental and new games too. Best of all, they have the intelligence and experience to explain why various games are great.
The hosts all have quick wits, great voices and smart things to say. They banter well: like any great gamer SHOULD be able to do, they take TURNS and don't dawdle.
I love this podcast.

A Need Fulfilled
The Gauntlet Podcast has come from humble beginnings as a group of friends into one of the premier podcasts about storygaming. Notable contributors from all walks have appeard on the show and assisted the cast with providing insightful analysis and colorful commentary about both the community itself, as well as the games it plays.

Possibly The Most Played RPG Podcast
The Gauntlet is in lots of ways more than a podcast. Sure, every week Jason and the crew talk about game experiences and tackle mechanical questions in really intensely practiced ways, but the meat of the Gauntlet is that they game. They game so much. While tons of discussion podcasts hit on a variety of games, The Gauntlet has actually PLAYED all of them. Every week, there are at least 2 games that I've never even read that they are a session or two into. It's bananas.
Add to this that the hosts are charismatic, interesting, and well spoken, this is right up there as possibly my favorite podcast. It's definitely worth listening to all of it. My knowledge of the indie RPG market has been dramatically pushed by The Gauntlet.

Great
Lots of good information, reviews, experiences, and recommendations about tabletop RPGs, particularly those Powered by the Apocalypse, but also plenty of others. I find The Gauntlet’s format much more engaging than a lot of other RPG podcasts - a lot of variety, no actual play stories (which are sometimes interesting, but often drag on and are hard to relate to), and interesting guests. This has been my go-to RPG podcast for months now.

Excellent formula
As one of the only roleplaying podcasts I listen to regularly, the Gauntlet succeeds because of a couple of great choices made in their presentation. First, they only talk about games they actually have played, often soon after they have played them. Second, though they talk about how their session taught them about the game, the podcast’s editor is relentless about editing out “and then my guy did this” sort of stories, which gives you a great feel for the game, without burdening the listener with second-hand ephemeral experiences he or she will never have when they play it in a different session. Third, their cast rotates a bit, so the perspective is not always the same. They also clearly love playing games, play them with an open mind, and manage to keep the length of any given topic down to just long enough.

One of the great ones.
I have been listening to podcasts since 2004 and have tuned in to at least a few episodes of virtually every podcast covering role-playing games since that time. The Gauntlet is one of the rare truly “great ones.” It reminds me of the golden era when shows like Sons of Kryos and Have Games Will Travel were around. The podcasters who created The Gauntlet are consistent, and consistently hit on good material. Their discussion is backed by a large community of both live and on-line play. The show is skewed toward small press and independently published RPGs, but there are gems in it for anyone who loves the tabletop RPG hobby. I highly recommend this one!

One Stop Podcast with presenters who make you think and laugh
A One Stop Shop for all things Indie RPG, Story Game, and the occaisional board/card game. Hosts mix the technical with the personal and the humorous, and you never finish an episode without having had a laugh and discovered something new.

Great podcast and strong community
The Gauntlet is an excellent resource for learning about Story Games, Indie Roleplaying games, with some Old School Renaissance rpg thrown in for good measure. It is funny, entertaining and focused mainly on the play experience of these games.
The Gauntlet is also the most active and dynamic online community for these games. Listen and join the group. They play tons of online and in person games, and welcome new people with open arms.

If you like RPGs, you have to listen to this podcast.
This podcast has some of the best discussion about RPGs available right now. The sound quality is great, the topics are interesting, and the scope is both broad and deep.
I really couldn't ask for more out of a podcast about my most loved hobby.

Go-to gaming podcast
You don’t have to listen to every episode twice (like I have) to get to know the fantastic gaming community of The Gauntlet and where their passions lie in tabletop gaming (or sexy, hairless werewolves [see episodes 1 through current]). Stick around for a balance of banter, analysis, and reviews regarding a range of games played by the Gauntlet.

Emergence of a Golden RPG Cast
I have been a podcast listener since … well since there were podcasts. I have particularly listened to at least one or two episodes of every RPG podcast that ever hit this “series of tubes” we call the Internet. This is one of the best and reminds me of the golden era when shows like Sons of Kryos and Have Games Will Travel were around. They are consistent, and consistently hit on good material. Of use to you might be knowing that this show is more skewed toward small press and independently published RPGs than it is toward things like D&D or Pathfinder.

One of the best Story Game Podcasts out there!
This podcast has helped me to GM the games I'm running better, reconnect with friends, and has exposed me to Story Games I hadn't heard of before.
If you are in the Houston area, this is a great meetup group to join. These guys sound like they are having lots of fun, and make listeners a part of it.
If you are, like me, not in the Houston area, their topics provide good pointers to interesting topics/news/games in the gaming hobby, RPGs, as well as some Board Games, and Video Games.
Sometimes they might even talk in their {Klingon} accents; you don't want to miss it!

Wide variety of games
These guys play a huge variety of games so they've experienced just about everything out there. They are not afraid to be honest about their opinions and can back them up. It's a good place to hear about a game you didn't know you needed to play.

Best gaming podcast of any podcast from states that start with the letter T
Of all the gaming podcasts that reside in a state that starts with the letter T, the Gauntlet takes the cake. From their hilarious hosts to their rather prolific repertoire of games they play on a monthly basis, it's a great place to hear about interesting indie games and feel involved in a conversation about them. Not only is the show fun but it's educational as well: I've personally learned a bunch about interesting games I never heard of like Society of Dreamers and, as an aside, I learned other things too, like the fact that werewolves are really sexy when they shower.
