But even though we may pray for you, the blessings will not come, unless you put your trust in the Lord, and have confidence in him.Jesus said: If you love me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the Father that he would send you another Comforter.You have to trust Jesus at his word.You must believe in order to receive; if you doubt, you’ll stay without.1 John And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.If you want to be blessed, you must look to God. James Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.
