Trail is the man

I was so glad when Trail started his own podcast he is a wealth of knowledge. I do not hunt archery for the simple fact that I am just to busy to practice but listening to Trail only make me want to make the time even more. Trail thanks so much!! Very basic but I think you always have had good timing and great insight on the things that make a difference. Things that are easily overlooked. One tip stop complaining about how old you are. I’m 10plus years older and feel like my experience outweighs my younger bodies strength

I previously listened to the GoHunt Podcast but could never really get into it. I always felt like there was too much fluff. However, Trail seems to have found the perfect balance between banter and useful substance. Dude is super knowledgeable but also extremely humble.

I have known about Trail for a while. I knew about GoHunt, I knew her was widely respected. I honestly, just had my preconceived notions. I recently started listening to the Big Hunt Guys podcast and realized I really respect Trail. The internet is weird—you feel like you know so much about someone without ever meeting them. But what I love about Trail’s content is he breaks down his opinions, thoughts and feelings that are actually relatable. And all of his opinions, thoughts, and feelings are based on real experience. This provides him the credibility that makes you want to absorb everything he says.

LOVE this Trail. Have an idea that would be great to hear from your experience on before elk season: backcountry hygiene. Any tips/tricks for staying clean(ish) preventing chafing, underwear/sock selection, base layers for super sweaty conditions, dry showers, toilet paper etc. How do you do it? Thanks!

Trail is my go to source for all things archery and hunting gear. I love the in depth archery topics and have learned a ton about working on my bow and fine tuning my set up. Trail is a genuinely good dude and he does a phenomenal job on this podcast.

Like the information Trail puts out. He seems to give a fairly unbiased (or when biased, lets you know). Helps me make better decisions in my hunting and preparation.

As a east coast guy I have used a lot of what i have learned from the podcast on eastern whitetail. An it has made me a better hunter and a lot more fun than sitting in a tree stand .

I’ve been bow hunting on and off since I was 8 yrs old. I’m 50 now. Breaks for career, family, etc. slowed the learning curve . I’ve learned things over the years but nothing like the information I’ve picked up from Trail’s Podcast. Thanks Trail!

Trail love all the information! You made it so much easier to understand and remember how to recover your animal. I also enjoy that you want to improve and shared what others said. Your voice was recorded mono in my left ear the whole time but your intro music was stereo. Would love to have you be stereo too! Hope your week in the woods was everything you could hope for!

I love this podcast and trail is great at helping me as I’m a new bow hunter. My only complaint is for some reason the latest episode only would play through one side of my headphones. The other episodes are not like this. It’s just a more enjoyable experience when it plays through both ear buds

Love the fresh approach and Trail’s down to Earth humbleness. This is not what every other podcast is doing…so refreshing!!!

Trail has a great way of making these conversations feel like a group of friends sitting around BSing. His welcoming nature and enthusiasm makes the guests open up in kind. People easily relate with others who put in the effort on DIY hunts and admit their own failures and successes while trying to learn along the way
