We interview music artist BootsSSJ who is a writer and recording artist from Prince Georges County who makes thoughtful melodic quasi-trap music with visceral undertones of the blues. In his debut EP “I Be Alright” He expresses the negative emotions that came from growing up in a financially unstable home, taking to the streets to escape the sadness of his home life, impacted by poverty, multiple deaths of loved ones, strict religious upbringing, and untreated mental disorder.
