"Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder." -- Rumi  One of my biggest struggles as a parent has been learning to avoid yelling. Tonight I go over an article found in Today's Parent called 10 Proven Ways to Finally Stop Yelling At Your Kids (by Lisa Kadane) and talk about the ways I have learned to calm down and even avoid temper tantrums all together.

Tonight I read Roxaboxen by Alice McLerran and discuss how I'm learning to be okay with being imperfect.
