
Dr. Edmonds is a seasoned clinician with a proven track record of mentoring medtech entrepreneurs and early stage companies in the development of life changing technologies. As a full-time practicing hospitalist with Palo Alto Medical Foundation, he co-leads a team of 28 physicians across 3 hospitals. When not seeing patients, he is part of the senior staff at Fogarty Innovation where he mentors a variety of early stage companies. In his role with Stanford Biodesign, he leads the effort to broaden clinical experiences for Biodesign Fellows in the community setting. Dr. Edmonds holds an MD from the UCLA School of Medicine and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and the Biodesign Fellowship at Stanford University.

Paul Rothweiler is staff in the Bakken Medical Devices Center within the Institute for Engineering in Medicine on the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis Campus, where he performs several roles that leverage his professional experience of over 30-years in the industry. This includes Prototyping & Materials Coordinator for the BMDC, lead for the MedWorx 3D Printing program, Virtual Reality, Segmentation and Prototyping workgroup, Coordinator and Mentor for the Clinician Led Intern Program, and lead for the BMDC Academy that provides professional training for industry professionals and Executives. Professor Steven S. Saliterman is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities where he develops medical device technologies and teaches several courses. However, he is also a physician by training and received his medical degree and specialty training at the Mayo Clinic, biomedical engineering internship at the Johnson Space Center, and research fellowship at the NASA Ames Research Center. Professor Saliterman is also a VentureWellTM Faculty Grant recipient and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
