Fatherlessness is a curse. In Malachi 4:6 it states, “at the end of the age I will bring the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their father or else I will smite the land with a curse”. This is the mission statement of all our media content. This is the first time I realized what the curse is. It is fatherlessness. I have refrained from using the end of that verse because I did not understand what it was referring to and I did not want to frighten people. Well, here we are. The curse of fatherlessness is upon our generation. What can we do about it? This podcast with Justin (The Juice) Leverette is a discussion about what God is doing in the lives of young men to lead then to the Father. Many of these young men don’t have natural, biological fathers. Nonetheless, Justin, a former Youth Pastor has started a ministry called “Encounter” in which people are being led to an Encounter with God as Father. Naturally, or should I say supernaturally, the only way to the Father is through His Son.  Justin is one of those people whom the Scripture describes in Romans 8 as being one of the sons of God whom the whole earth groans awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God. While our interaction is new and fresh, it is based on words exchanged between us based on the Word both Logos and Rhema. The word “Apocalypse” brings fear into most people’s minds as it is often used to scare people with the notion that it represents the end of the world! And, yes, while it is true that it represents the end of the world, or more accurately the end of the age, the original meaning of the word is “uncovering” or “to take the lid off”. Therefore, the Apocalypse is a good thing, maybe even a great thing, maybe one of the greatest events in history. More pertinent to this podcast is that I believe this seismic sea change in the history of the world is about to occur soon. How soon is soon? Perhaps by the end of June 2023. Then again no one knows for sure except the Father. Even though this is the Father’s Heart Talk Show, He has not told me exactly how or when, however, the signs indicate we are in the season of the end of the age.  The great “Uncovering” is a major battle in the Seed war between Good and Evil. Evil’s use of the Babylonian system of debt to enslave mankind under the power of debt is about to come to an end. Scripture tells us “The borrower is the slave to the lender”. This principle has been used by evil people under the auspices of powers and principalities of evil to enslave us for centuries. It is all about to come to an end  Come listen to this podcast which describes how Papa Tom believes this impending national and worldwide transition is about to unfold. Henry David Thoreau once said, “most people live lives of quiet desperation (paraphrased).” Do you find yourself in this state of mind? We live in a fallen world; we were not designed to live lives of quiet desperation. We were designed to connect with one another and to connect with our Father. Yet, most of us have no idea why we are here, or where we are going, or what our calling and destiny is. We pinball through life from day to day clueless as to what is going on. Take a few moments to listen to Papa Tom describe what he believes Scripture tells us the context of the world we live in.  The perspective of a Seed War between the Seed of the Woman and the seed of the serpent shows the power struggle we are experiencing today. Evil gravitates to power and control. From the perspective of the enemy of our souls it’s all about power and control. Hence, governments that control their populations through fear are operating under the influence of the seed of the serpent. How many people, when asked, can tell you what their name means? Eighty percent of the people I meet do not know the meaning of their names. My interviewee in this podcast is a Youth Pastor at Calvary Chapel named Isaiah. His name means “Salvation of the Lord” or “Yahweh Saves”. Come listen to how God activated his name when he was 7 years old and brought into his life a man who became his father. The relationship between Isaiah and his father has had a rippling effect through their family, through their church and through every social organization this father/son team touched’ Come listen to the effect this father/son team has had on two other people Gabe and Michael Davis. Both men needed God’s help desperately in their lives; both lives were dramatically transformed. Is it ironic that the Book of Isaiah says in Isaiah 55:11: So, shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” You find here the word going forth is inherent in the son’s very name “Isaiah” which means “Salvation of the Lord”. Does our Father have a sense of humor? He knew each of us before the foundation of the world. He knows exactly what we need and when we need it. He has a plan for each of our lives. His plan is always to prosper us. Each of the stories told in this podcast show the lives of people who after their lives were transformed were used to transform the lives of others too. Even in the story where one passes away prematurely God used his life to effect transformation in the lives of many others and is still doing so today. “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain”. Such was the destiny of Michael Davis. Come listen and watch the wheat grow! The Life Center in Lake Norman is the outgrowth of the seed that was planted when Michael Davis passed from this earth. One day each of us will clap for joy when we realize “O Death where is your victory? Where is your sting”. The restoration of all things is coming soon. Sam is a father of four children himself and one of three in his family of origin. Sam’s father was functionally illiterate, barely having a 7th grade education. Yet, when you listen to Sam’s stories about his father you will be touched by the emotional connection Sam had with his Dad. This podcast delivers a perspective of Halloween from the dark side. Consider the truth that we are all spiritual beings having natural experiences rather than natural beings having spiritual experiences. As spiritual beings whose side are we on? We will find ourselves on either one side or the other: The Kingdom of Heaven or the Domain of Darkness. Let’s look at how the dark side perceives Halloween, Satan’s High Holy Day. All Hallows Eve, All Souls Day, the day when death first entered the earth.  In the tradition of C.S. Lewis’ “Screwtape Letters” this podcast presents a skit of Uncle Screwtape (the senior Devil) instructing Wormwood (the younger devil) on the history of Halloween starting from the first Halloween in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, it marked the time our Lord and Master gained control over the humans and simultaneously dominion over the earth. Down here we call it the “Rise”, the other side calls it the “Fall”.  That day was the first “Trick or Treat” event. Our Lord and Master’s first trick brought about Death which is our best friend. Come listen to Uncle Screwtape describe to Wormwood how the Domain of Darkness has been able to keep control over the humans through the fear of death, the mother of all fears. This fictional account further presents current events from the perspective of darkness presenting the “D” award to the Doctor of Death which is only fitting to honor a chosen vessel who has helped the Darkness promote death on the earth. It is unrighteous and unjust to present this award on Halloween, Satan’s High Holy Day, the day on which we devils get the humans to celebrate Death with us.  The podcast ends with a true story of a woman, who when she was young was kidnapped and subjected to Satanic Ritual Abuse. The phase the bait of Satan is taking offense (This term is taken from the book “The Bait of Satan” by John Bevere. This podcast deals with the bait of Satan from the perspective of how it affects our destiny. Not to say that we will not reach our destiny, however, when we are offended, we are sidetracked from our destiny and that is the devil’s plan. The only one who can stop you from reaching your own destiny is you. When you become offended you derail yourself from your own destiny. Come listen to two dreams the Lord gave me: one, a recent dream about choosing not to be offended and the second dream from 40 years ago concerns my own calling and destiny. I take two stories from The Bait of Satan book written by John Bevere that describes two Old Testament people who chose not to be offended and thereby were able to reach their destinies: Joseph and David. One was mistreated by his brothers, the other by his surrogate father, his father-in-law. Both resisted the bait of Satan and were blessed to see their destinies reached by the power and grace of God. In this day and age, much is presented to us through the media and social interaction that is intended to cause us to be offended. Don’t take the bait! Remember bait is used in a trap to trap you! How is this accomplished? You get stuck in your emotions and cannot see straight. Remember the Accuser uses words to divide or destroy us. Words that offend us are designed to steal, kill and destroy our destinies. Don’t take the bait! Listen to how you can overcome the temptation to be offended. Resist the devil and he will flee. As a side note, right after this podcast was created on my radio show I went out to breakfast at a Cracker Barrel. When I went to pay the bill, I asked the cashier what her name was? She replied her name was “Destiny”! Then she disappeared (Ha-ha, just kidding). God speaks to us in many ways. Open your heart to Him and ask Him to speak to you.
