As Rooster and Oren hover between life and death, Thibodeaux makes a desperate bid to save the Dragonborn using the last of his strength. While Worthy struggles to reach her fallen companions, Cap, Liferlas, and Maxine come to the rescue….but will they be in time?

As a wounded Oren struggles to free himself from the ruins of the Abbey bell tower, the Familiars enact a desperate rescue. The City Guard and their help is a scant mile away. But when Rooster and Thibodeaux venture into the rubble, an unexpected move on the enemy splits the party...and one mile might as well be thousands.

With one mission complete, and the children of Goldenfields delivered to safety, the Familiars regroup to call for the town guard. Questioning her faith, Worthy shows a lighter side. But when the ale and conversation flow too freely, Thibodeaux must step in yet again to guard his friend.
