I love classic movies, and I love owning classic movies. This podcast is a great way to learn about what is coming down the pipeline, particularly from Warner Archive. George Feltenstein is a frequent guest, and he provides so much insight into the various releases. For classic cartoon fans, episodes featuring Jerry Beck are a real treat!

As a huge cinema fan and physical media addict, this podcast has grabbed me and won’t let go. I am definitely “slightly obsessed” (probably more than slightly), and I can’t get enough of this podcast. I only discovered it last year, but I’ve been binging it ever since. The only downside of this podcast, is how much money it sometimes ends up costing me when I hear new Warner archive Blu-ray discs coming out and then feel I have to have them, and then go and buy them right away. But I live with that. Highly recommended

This is a great podcast. A lot of fun with a lot of information. The boast is personable ant you will learn a lot. I look forward to each one.

I’m only 25 minutes in and Andrew gives a lot of information on rights, which is quite interesting and this episode could be used as a reference when someone asks why a show takes forever to get a DVD release.

This podcast is not only fun to listen to, but it's a great place to learn about movies, TV, and Home Video releases. Tim has great guests and it's always fun to hear the discussions and anecdotes for a movie and film fan. I found the podcast accidentally when Bill Hunt from The Digital Bits website was a guest and he posted about it. I have been a rapt listener ever since!

Tim Millard does a super job of letting each guest—and the films themselves— speak for themselves. Always informative and entertaining particularly in this, the 100th Anniversary.

This has become one of my favorites very fast. Aside from the exclusive Warner Archive's content, the show explores every kind of classic film releases in a manner that's interesting and entertaining. Great job!!!

I was a regular listener to the Warner Archive Podcast, and I was disappointed when it was canceled, so imagine how ecstatic I became when I discovered George Feltenstein has since been talking about WAC new releases on The Extras! His discussions with Tim are fascinating to listen to, and always hold a wealth of information when it comes to Hollywood and physical media history.

This is one of my favorite podcasts! Love it when he has on George Feltenstein and Alan K. Rode, especially to hear about Casablanca and about various releases from the Warner archive.

The Extras is always entertaining - as a phyical media fan/collector, I really appreciate the deep dives into the production BEHIND these releases. Tim is great at inviting hosts to the show that revolve around a new or upcoming release, but also seeks out very interesting topics like historical film, classic animation, cinematic scores and film restoration. George F. from Warner Archives is friend of Tim's and a regular on the podcast - dishing out STUPIFYING facts about everything film related and the latest Warner Archives news and releases. I've been listening to The Extras for a couple of years now, and I must say that Tim really does a great job of releasing new episodes on a regular basis - I keep coming back for more. And on the few occassions that an episode centered around a topic that didn't think would interest me, I ended up being sucked in! Highly reccommended if you are a physical media collector and someone who like to get a glimpse behind the curtain.

Great podcast by host Tim Millard interviewing the various producers of bonus content on 4K and blu-rays, and sometimes on the restoration of the film itself! Always a joy to hear frequent guest George Feltenstein - his enthusiasm compells me to purchase many of the Warner archives discs!

this is a great way of keeping up with the ever-increasing list of blu rays that you should be buying, as well of more fully appreciating the labor that does into their production. its interesting to think about the fact that actual, living people work on them, and i love this show for giving me a little window into their world.

What I love about podcasts is they cover topics in ways you can’t find anywhere else. Tim’s show is smart and features top notch guests who explain the economics and production challenges behind physical media.

If you love physical media and the extras that make them so great, this is a must listen podcast. Working in post production for over 20 years I have see it all but Tim has the best guest that dive even deeper and gives you even more. Every episode is a joy to listen to and if your a fan of film snd television this is the show for you.
