Steve Coulson is the creative director over at Campfire, the company that's done a lot of amazing campaigns in the immersive and audience engaging transmedia vein over the years. Some weeks ago Steve caused a bit of a stir by releasing the graphic novel "Summer Island", a novel created with AI-generated artwork. As everyone can imagine, it's been fairly polarising, with some seeing a threat where others see possibilities.
Very timely, Steve also released his second novel today - "Exodus"!
Today we'll talk AI, art, and the future of content! Enjoy!

In this episode we do a deep dive into the world of documentary filmmaking and the change (some would say long overdue change) that we're witnessing at the moment. Old models don't necessarily work anymore, and we desperately need to learn how to navigate new realities... while at the same time taking into consideration a whole set of new challenges and possibilities.Joining me for this talk is Louise Rosen. With over 25 years of experience of the documentary filmmaking industry, her company Louise Rosen Ltd (LRL) provides services to filmmakers including guidance on project development, editorial review at all stages of production, strategies for fundraising, distribution and festival planning, sales agency for project financing and distribution of finished films. LRL projects have included Oscar, Emmy, Sundance, and other award-winning films and have been released across all platforms. Enjoy! If you find this interesting, please share, comment, recommend and subscribe. Thank you!

Some of my formative media years were spent in the TV format industry, which back in the days was a creative hotbed for new ideas with the potential to go global basically overnight. Today the industry looks different in many ways. There is no one better to talk to about the future of TV formats and how they could potentially find a purpose in today's media world than Jan Salling. Formerly of Banijay, Nordic World, Zodiak and FRAPA, he now heads up the Nordic division of BBC. If there's something he doesn't know about TV formats, it's probably not worth knowing. Welcome!

In this episode of the Evolving Media podcast we’ll be talking about the world of social media - where we’re going, how it can be utilised best and whether bots will simply drown everything else out in the end.
To get some answers to these questions, I chat with Gavin McGarry, CEO of Jumpwire Media. Gavin started up the social media agency ten years ago and clients include the likes of Red Bull, BBC, Formula One and so on. Enjoy!
