These unsung heroes work on the ground to raise their neighbors out of poverty and help the needy when public institutions fail. Here, we share their stories, in hopes that you too will hear the call to action and help those who need it most.

School Choice
It is National School Choice week and on today's episode of Everyday Heroes, Jodi speaks with some representatives who are doing their part to ensure that all kids, especially those within our nation's inner cities, are not locked in bad schools, but instead have choices and opportunities through education. We hear from Colin Sharkey, the Executive Vice President of the Association of American Educators as he discusses what they are doing to assist teacher's, but also on the value of school choice.
