When it comes to winning, some people just have a mindset that the vast majority of people don't understand. Because winning repeatedly requires- not just a willingness- but an eagerness to face challenges again and again that most people can barely stomach once. It's the consistency of pushing yourself just a little bit more each time, of "going one more" that creates results. Nick Bare, today's guest understands that mindset and shares what it's taken to get him there with the young men of Apogee in this episode.

AMY MINTER
What first began as her brother's solution to her bullying problem turned into a dream that Amy never believed was something that she could achieve. Battling depression, trauma, and other health issues had left her feeling beat down and boxing helped her fill a void in her life.
The game changed for Amy after she found Jose Morales' gym in Roseville, CA.
There, she received support in a way that she never had before and began a journey of personal development. Through training, she was able to learn and understand herself better than ever and found a purpose. Then in 2021, Amy competed in the women's national boxing tournament where she fought the top 3 girls and beat all of them, taking home the national title.
