Overall good show about profitability & all things business. There is quite a bit of spontaneous music that is overly loud & the host makes several unnecessary noises. The grunts seem to be diminishing as the episode count climbs. Guest are usually very good with excellent information. I’d recommend skipping the first & last 10 or 12 minutes of the podcast so you can get the important items & skip the fodder.

Mike is an absolute genius and he truly cares about making all businesses profitable. The information he shares is life-changing and I’m thankful for this podcast.

This podcast and Mike’s books and methods are truly life-changing. The podcast is so upbeat, even if I am in the worst mood, listening makes me optimistic again. I love to start my Monday mornings out with this podcast.

I’m a huge fan of Mike and his Profit First system because it works! His enthusiasm for all things business is contagious!

Most of the time it is too hard to get through the first 10 minutes of their “morning zoo” radio format, and I end up moving on to a different podcast. Listen to his book on Audible several times, and it will be a better use of your time.

I subscribed to this to learn about various techniques I could use to run my business . To me these are serious business topics . The constant child like behavior of the two hosts is a serious turn off for me . I want to learn about business not listen to two guys constantly acting like immature teenagers . It was enough to make me unsubscribe . I’m sure there’s many more that feel the same way, they just don’t take the time to write a review saying so . If you want to do a comedy show then title it as such .

I really enjoy Mike and his team. They provide a fun educational podcast with great guests and take sways. I love the energy with just the right amount of goofiness. This is now my favorite podcast! Now I need to make an account to put money aside to attend Profitcon do I can meet you!

Not your run of the mill business podcast -- great guests, great information, and great fun. I've never laughed this hard while listening to a podcast (not a good thing while driving). Half that statement is true. The other is false because it’s, Wildly Entertaining. The knowledge they drop every episode is fantastic. I usually jump around randomly on podcasts looking for topics I’m interested in but this one I’ve listen to in sequential order. Haven’t caught up to date yet but I’ll get there soon. I came here from the roofer show and the wealthy contractor podcast. Mike and Kelsey are way better than big boi and j cruz on the radio haha. So awesome I do a lot of driving and I appreciate this podcast because it feels like I’m studying all day! Thanks guys for making things fun.

I made one of the dumbest business move ever and that was to use my credit card to finance an investment with no sure way of paying for it. After a months of panic, I started reading ever book on debt and money management. But profit first took the cake. I immediately implemented profit first and can say a year and 1/2 later, debt is almost wiped out, weaned myself off credit cards, and for once don’t have to fret during about the slow retail season- I have the vault. I even implemented the profit first method for kids you mentioned in the back of the book with my kids 11 and 9 and now they are managing their money like champs. When my husband got into debt and I tried telling him try paying yourself first he wouldn’t buy it until he saw the kids working profit first buying their own gifts, putting away their emergency fund money etc now I see him listening and watching and taking baby steps. Mike I can’t thank you enough. You were God sent!!!

I’m a lawyer and own a small law practice. I’m fortunate because I naturally love marketing so my business has grown organically during the last decade since I started my practice. I recently hired a new attorney to leverage my efforts but even then, realized I had hit my ceiling of growth. I was not willing to work more hours but still wanted to grow my business. Enter Mike Mic. I googled “scaling my business” and ran across some obvious books on the subject like the E-Myth and Scaling Up but then saw Mike’s new book, Clockwork. Already a fan of his other books, The Pumpkin Plan & Profit First, I decided to read clockwork first. Boy, am I glad I did! Within the first 2 chapters I made a business/life changing decision to cut two practice areas from my biz that were the least profitable yet most time consuming! It’s like a weight has been lifted in the office and my entire staff is excited. Trimming these two practice areas have gotten my creative juices flowing and I have many more big ideas I plan to launch year in my practice to allow me to reclaim even more of my time while increasing my profits. After immersing myself in the Clockwork process, I decided I also had to start listening to mike in this podcast for my daily “business buzz” along with my morning cup of coffee. Reading the book last year and applying it to my biz was hugely successful, but now that I am growing my biz beyond just 2-3 people, I have more & more questions. I am LOVING this newly-discovered podcast which I found after hearing Mike interviewed on other business podcasts and then reading Profit First. The guests are great. Two of my favorite parts of the show are when listener questions are answered (because they are often questions that I have had) and the games at the end (that's just pure fun). This is an update to my previous review. 7 months after opening my business, and 4 months after having the honor of interviewing Mike, I can say my business is now absolutely profitable for the first time!!! We utilized all of his books to make it happen - the pumpkin plan where we changed services, hours, staff - you name it. We went from open hours of 6:30-330 M-S to only open on Saturday and Mondays and its been huge for us. Clockwork allowed us systems that gave us more clarity, less working hours and more profit! I discovered the podcast after reading Profit First. It has often been said that business principles should be taught better in school and I would strongly agree. I believe Mike's books should be required reading with every business license. I sure could have used Profit First when I started my first business over 14 years ago!
