Loved hearing Casey go on and on about his shows. I’ve seen everything he’s done so even in the midst of a pandemic, it made me feel like I was there. Thanks!!

Short, Entertaining, and Informative!
I am not a podcast person. I do, however, appreciate the content that The Ensemblist puts out. As someone who doesn't prioritize this kind of entertainment, when I do feel like listening to a podcast, these are brief, entertaining, and informative- I dig! :)

Ya’ll are the best!
I love how The Ensemblist makes so many people feel seen! It takes a village in this industry, and so rarely is credit given where it’s due. Ya’ll also tackle the convos that a lot of people don’t wanna acknowledge and I think your podcast holds such a special (and important) place in the theatre community! Bravo!

Smash Series Recap is EVERYTHING
I cannot adequately express the joy I have felt listening to yours and Aaron Jalbanos week by week episode review of one of my all time favorite series, SMASH. I clung to this show as I was going to a college in a very, very small town and I still do almost ten years later. To hear what Broadway professionals think about the show and how it relates to the industry today has been utterly fascinating. ESPECIALLY since you BOTH were on the show at one point. I’m fan girling hardcore. I don’t want it to end!! Thank you for this. It’s been a most enjoyable 37 weeks.

I'm loving the Smash'd episodes!
I'm only a theater fan, but I love hearing all the ensemblist episodes. I'm particularly enjoying Smash'd episodes. Please do season 2. I also appreciate hearing stories from ensemblists who have been affected by the Covid 19 shutdown of theaters. My heart goes out to everyone in the community at this time.

Can’t believe it’s taken this long to discover “The Ensemblist”
Took me a while, but here I am. I’m a”past my prime” performer living in Seattle. I’m living vicariously through this well paced, thoughtful, entertaining podcast. The guests are brilliant and the hosting is spot on. Always asking the right questions to get to a deeper understanding of a performers experience. Thank you for taking the time and expending the energy to share these unique stories. I’m now t even pursuing a career and still living the stories. They give so much more weight to the understanding of what goes on behind the scenes of the incredible show we see. Thank you Mo!

I love this podcast!
I’m a theatre fan, but not an “insider.” I love the way this podcast gives me a view into what goes into making a Broadway show, and what it’s like to work on Broadway. Excellent work, Mo and team!!

Smash’ed and back
I have been enjoying the Smash’ed episodes! For some reason I stopped listening late last year (holidays, life, etc.), but am back! Need to catch up with the new-to-me content, but keep the Smash’ed episodes coming!

Who knew research could be so much fun?
It’s official—I’ve listened to every single available episode! I knew next to nothing about musical theatre when I discovered this podcast and am now a huge fan! In researching my next novel, I hoped to absorb a lot of information quickly and The Ensemblist was exactly what I needed: an entertaining, thorough, informative resource featuring a diverse collection of voices and perspectives. Thank you!

I love it!
It’s so great to hear about people in ensambles because so many people think leads are more important. No small parts, just small actors!!!

Ensembles Rock!
As an actress, I'm always on the lookout for resources from actors in the profession that can offer advice and anecdotes about working on Broadway since that is a big goal I aspire to. When I first heard of The Ensemblist, I was curious to hear from the group of men and women who make up the important fabric of musicals and plays. Ever since then, I can't stop listening to it! Mo & Nikka (I know Nikka is not co-hosting with Mo in the recent episodes) are fabulous hosts, and this podcast is amazing for championing the group people that are so often left out but never forgotten by their principals, creative team, and even their fans. The topics discussed are both enlghtening and amusing to listen to, and the actors who share their experiences on the Great White Way and beyond are inspirations to me. I cannot recommend this podcast enough to anyone and everyone who hopes to be on Broadway someday. It is so fantastic, informative, funny, and creative, and I cannot wait for more episodes to come soon! Ensembles rock!

Really enjoying this podcast!
I came across this podcast and decided to listen to the episodes about Fosse/Verdon. It was great to hear about the making of it and the experiences the performers had. I loved the miniseries so it was fun to get a "backstage" view. I'll be back for more! Thanks!

The absolute best Broadway Podcast
I start every morning listening to an episode or two of The Ensemblist. As an aspiring actor myself, some of these interviews and stories give me goosebumps and put me in such a motivational, inspiring mindset for the day. Mo brings such humble people into the show, and the best part is that he interviews from all ends of the industry; not just the actors on stage. Everyone should give this podcast a listen!

I’m a huge broadway fan especially, of broadway ensemble members I feel they are the heroes of any broadway show and their super talented just like the principle actors. This podcast gave me a great insight on the lives of ensemble members and their stories and what it takes to be on broadway as dancers, singers and playing multiple tracks and covering main actors at any giving time whole even playing their own track. I LOOK FORWARD TO FUTURE EPISODES I LOVE THIS CONTENT

The perfect Theatre fix
Mo! I love your podcast. As a person who has cut their theatre journey short for the moment I love listening and getting in the know. I find it super informative and The length is perfect so I can listen to all of them in one sitting! It’s perfect for when I need a little theatre fix

A Must Listen 4 Anyone who ❤️ Brdwy
As a theatre teacher, this is the greatest resource out there. Like having a friend on Brdway who invites their friends to come over and just talk abt Broadway. It’s always fun and entertaining. Keep it up Mo! We still have lots to learn.

A Favorite!
I FINALLY started getting into podcasts again and I love Broadway. I've tried TONS of podcasts and this is one of my absolute favorites. The interviews are very well done and I love the concentration on ensemble members!

Musical theater lover
I consider myself a professional musical theater audience member. Not that I get paid to go, but with season tickets for 5 different theaters (and I live in central California) I go all the time. I go to NY. About every 3 years. I love this Broadcast for making me feel like I am in NYC and for all the information I get about shows I have seen (usually on tour) or hope to see. It is so much fun. I know lots of you g people who are trying to “make it” and I am constantly referring them to this podcast. Thanks Mo!

From a
Have been lurking on this podcast for some time.. appreciate the insight behind the curtain, broadway fireside stories, and above all, the tales of perseverance and victory. As an MT graduate of CMU, I wish I had this resource available to me as I came to the big city. Perhaps less flailing would have ensued! :)

Pit violinist theater geek
Hi Mo! Heard the call for more reviews! I’ve been listening to your show for a number of years now... have liked all the iterations but really love the new format. I am a professional violinist who plays a lot of Broadway Across America shows and its perfect for me. I grew up in and near NYC and have been going to Broadway since I was a little girl ( First show was The Magic Show with Doug Henning with an excellent score by Stephen Schwartz.) I try to catch as many shows as I can in the City as I know that, if they start traveling and pick up a violin and are passing through Providence, I will be playing that show. So, it’s really great to get the inside track on Ensemblists from your show as I’m sure these are the same folks I pass every day in the hall on my way to the pit. It’s really great to get the inside perspective from an entirely different angle than my usual musical one. I’ve particularly enjoyed the What Makes a Great Audition series as I’ve worked with a lot of the Creatives when they come to Providence to start a show on its tour ( It’s a frequent flyer for that... close to NYC but a lot cheaper, with good local musicians and a nice theater). Anyway, keep up the good work! Thanks! Zoia Bologovsky
