Two weeks in a row, how lucky are you listeners?! Even though Nikki joked about it, footy is never like a boring movie for us...although as much as we love it, let's hope the drama stays on the field this weekend!

In the immortal words of Hayne "it's been a looooong time". Took us a minute but we are BACK BABY! We being the Double Movement and the NRL. Season 2020 (take 2) is off to a flyer with a reduced round competition, new rules, one referee and drama aplenty! After some tech difficulties, and after extensive testing, the girls are back on the airwaves to chat all things rugby league in 2020.

And that's a wrap! Season 2019 has sadly come to a close. But just before Calli and Nikki cheers to the silly season and hit the beach, they decide to 'bring back the biff' in a lawyer like sense. Not once, or twice. But three issues get the girls all wired up (Nikki in particular). Balls hitting trainers. Cronk in the bin. And dare anyone say 'six again'. But no love lost between the little chic from the east and the honey bunny down south. If anything, there's only more love, laughs and giggles by the time the episode comes to a close. And then there were two. Raiders v Roosters. Ricky v Robbo. Calli bids farewell to her beloved Rabbitoh's. As for Melbourne... well...we bet you're missing Cooper Cronk. We warn you dear listeners, this episode is a bit of a marathon. But how could it not be? It's the end of 2019. Footy is coming to a close and the beaches are calling out our names. It's finals time and boy did the first week deliver. The Chooks bounced back from their last round blunder. The Viking Clap came out victorious over all the misplaced fireworks and purple thunder. Manly demonstrated that Brookline is still the NRL Graveyard. And as for Brisbane - may your season Rest In Peace. Lots of heart from Nikki and Calli in this one. But hey it's finals xoxo

The number "8" is what comes in three's of late. It's season 2, episode 8. We're down to the final 8. The almighty grudge match is to experience a deja vu, only 8 days after the Bunnies and Chooks spilt blood on ANZ and messed with a hair-do. Tons of rival banter in this episode. But we promise there was no pulling of ponytails. Finals footy kicks off this Friday the 13th. An omen? A voodoo/hoodoo? Or a (TSwift) lucky number. Only time will tell xoxo

It's feeling like Christmas on the sidelines. There's a whole of of Love(r) to share and sprinkles of red and green in the air. With first and second place all locked up, Storm and Roosters can afford to rest a few of their shining stars. Canberra, Manly and Souths have played some grubby footy of late but is that what is takes to make the finals eight? And guess who's already lost a silly little bet. Calli and Nikki record their first episode LIVE from Australia's largest recording studio. The Double Movement never thought they would record inside the same walls as Justin Bieber, Vance Joy, Cold Play, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Kesha...and the list goes on. Studios 301 definitely brought the magic just before Magic Round officially kicks off! Eight games at Suncorp and no Queensland teams are even close to the top eight. Who is on top - Roosters and Bunnies. Storm could be up there too, just don't play the shark song - hoodoo/voodoo anyone?
