Good show but not a lot of there there
It’s an interesting case but agree with the review that said 8 episodes on this was a lot and often seemed like filler. Production value excellent and the narrator is good but there just wasn’t a lot to work with here.

Amateurish and Desperate
The podcast is extremely amateurish, vapid, and desperate. For starters, the story is painfully drawn out and repetitive. The questions asked are really, really stupid. Why isn't the police releasing more information? Well, maybe because it is an open investigation and there is very little information to begin with! It's like this podcaster really wanted to make a story but all the good ones were taken.

Sensitive Investigation
Thank you for such a sensitive and engaging exploration of this tragedy. I pray for the family.

Waste of time
My gosh, this was a 30 minute story stretched and stretched into 7 episodes. Sad. R

Alan Ritchie Kennishead
My dad was Murdered on his doorstep also last year in Glasgow, Scotland on March 10 2020. His name was Alan Dow Ritchie. This story hit way to close to home and I’m so grateful that you all did this for the family. It is beautiful, raw and real. Thanks for giving us hope, those who have lost someone in this horrible way. I’ve only got photographs I've taken. But this is incredible. They still have someone fighting for him and them. Heartbreaking story
Fiona Walker’s voice and storytelling is incredible. I wish she would do more podcasts. BBC please make that happen. This story breaks my heart and I’m so sorry for Veronica and family that they have no answers still. I hope one day they’ll have a resolution to this case.

The Doorstep Murder
I enjoyed the story especially the the attention to the multiple lines of inquiry considered by the law enforcement officials. I did not appreciate the flippant attitude expressed towards firearms ownership in the U.S.A. The presenter implied that a handgun can be purchased off the internet with no background check. While a handgun can be found and purchased, the transfer to the new owner has to be conducted by the holder of a Federal Firearms Agent after the successful completion of a full background check.

Enjoyed it
I throughly enjoyed this podcast. It’s sad that it’s been a cold case for over 10 years with no suspects or hardly any leads at all. I do think it was well sought out and produced, etc.

Solid Podcast but Lacking
Good story, well produced and reported/narrated. Good that is only 6 episodes because it really can’t sustain even that. ****SPOILER**** However, there is no resolution. It’s just a story without an ending. I don’t mind those types of stories but this one had nothing else really to keep it interesting over the course 6 episodes - it c/should have been told in another podcast as one episode.

Why is she whispering?
Decent true crime limited series. But I don’t understand why the host is whispering her narration.

Lost me halfway through
The accents are pleasant but the story stopped being interesting halfway through.

On the fence on this one
I am on episode 3 and the topic is interesting, sad and intriguing but there is something about the presentation that detracts from the story. I will review more after I finish the series. I just finished, and I would recommend this podcast if you need something to listen to, but it is ia bit disjointed, a bit overly dramatic and throws out tangents which leave you a bit off balance..
