I have been waiting for someone to do an ongoing Daredevil Podcast and it's finally here. It's nice to listen to two hosts who can have a fun conversation about my favorite Marvel hero without trying to sound like experts or being completely clueless about the subject. You can feel the excitement in their voice as they go over the episodes. Can't wait to hear what comes next! I've started from the beginning and I'm quickly catching up:)

I've only recently discovered this podcast...but I really Love it! Carl & Drew are great hosts, they flow well together, and the show is super fun and very informative. I really appreciate that they cover a variety of nerd/geek topics through different segments on their show. They have helped me to "broaden my horizons," and get into other content that I would have never known about had I not been listening to them. Lastly, their review of The Last Jedi was amazing, and really helped me to think through this movie that left me conflicted! Keep up the GREAT work guys!

I am not a comic book reader but enjoy the boom of nerd culture that we are currently in. I enjoy learning more about it from well seasoned veterans with strong opinions. I have enjoyed the unique element of walking through episodes of a show with commentary from the dynamic duo. I love podcasts and have recently removed some from my que but this one stays because it's unique and fresh. I am excited to hear what they do next :)

I've got a long commute to and from work. This weekly show makes my Wednesday/Humpday commute so much more bearable. Keep it up!!!

The main thrust of this podcast right now is the episode-by-episode review of the Netflix Daredevil show; as of this review they’re about halfway through the first season. Carl and Drew have a great chemistry and banter, and their conversations stay fun but also informative and insightful. These guys know their comics. Some of the episodes get bloated, with topics diverging away from Daredevil into other geek news (kind of a “Carl and Drew do ‘Fat Man on Batman’ ”) and some occasional pro wrestling talk. As a nerd, it’s fun to listen to, but it can feel off-course some of the time. The nice thing though is that it doesn’t reduce the amount of Daredevil talk, it’s just made the episodes longer. Personally I think the theme song is too long, especially since it’s used as an intro and outro. It adds a bit of dead time to marathon listening sessions. Sometimes you can hear a faint hiss throughout the episode if you’re wearing headphones. Since they didn’t start reviewing the Netflix series episodes until Episode 2, don’t look for the podcast episode numbers to correspond with the show episode numbers (for now it’s one podcast episode number ahead of whatever Netflix episode they’re on, though we’ll see if/how this may change once the guys get to Season 2). I think a more detailed episode title may help curb this, but if you’re in for the podcast as a whole and not just the review portion then you should be fine. None of these nitpicks are enough of a reason to stop listening. These guys put out some quality content and if you’re a fan of comics and Daredevil, it’s definitely worth giving it a try.

Quality production & A great listen for those of us who dont read the comics but love the show. I really appreciate the Easter Egg reveals and the comic-book back stories. Keep it coming!
