Oscar Nominated Sequels (1/3) We've got a need...a need to proceed with our next group of movies:  2023 Oscar nominated sequels.  There were three sequels nominated for awards in the 2023 Oscar picks.  Top Gun: Maverick is one of just 9 sequels to ever be nominated for Best Picture.  Will it take home the gold or will it stall out and go into a nosedive?

Rian Johnson has revived his southern super-sleuth, Benoit Blanc, for another mystery.  Five friends gather at the beckoning of their benefactor.  Little do they know, someone has invited Blanc along for what is sure to be a weekend to die for.
