Today, we’re concluding a 6-week series that Darrell taught on the Gospel of John in 1996 at Glendale Presbyterian Church in California, and stepping into one of Darrell’s most beloved parts of Scripture. John has long been a favourite of his—he’s spent decades returning to it, teaching it, and inviting others to encounter Jesus through its pages. In this final message, Darrell brings us to John 13:1–17, where Jesus takes up a towel and washes His disciples’ feet—revealing a King unlike any we expect. Here, we see that the heart of God’s authority is not power, but self-giving love; not being served, but serving. And in this surprising act, Darrell shows us that the cross is not a contradiction of Jesus’ kingship, but its clearest expression, as He invites us not only to receive His grace, but to extend it to one another.__FREE Intro to the Gospel of John course with Darrell JohnsonGive to the Ministry of Darrell JohnsonDarrell's BooksSubscribe to Darrell's Mailing ListWebsite | darrelljohnson.caYouTube | youtube.com/darrelljohnson
