Protect (and share) Your Joy
Laugh-out-loud funny, and feels like hanging out with friends. Zane introduces the first episode with a George C. Wolfe quote to ferociously protect your joy; to have fun, be silly, and let the sky be the limit in the quest to create impossible projects. The podcast definitely delivers on it - a welcome celebration of the fun of cooperative creativity. The groups of creative veterans and special guests keep things entertaining while dancing around absurd challenges (thanks, Daxel). Their happiness is invigorating. Thanks for protecting the joy!

An open bar of creativity
Zane leverages his extensive connections in Themed Entertainment to share some of the most creative minds with us. The panelists have such a free and honest rapport helped greatly by Ken’s wonderful DM’ing, each episode really feels like hanging out with friends dreaming up fun attractions. There is a good mix of raw storytelling and critical evaluation of themed entertainment. Just enough industry in-jokes to keep theme park nerds happy but not so inside baseball to put off those who just enjoy a fun creative idea explosion.

For anyone who’s ever been to a theme park
You don’t have to be a designer to appreciate the ambition, the enthusiasm, the wild ideas and mild disdain that is the process of dreaming up a ride. This is a hilarious jaunt through attractions that will never be, and a glimpse into the playful, sometimes frightening minds of the people always trying to create your best day ever. You’ll laugh a lot, and maybe find yourself a little sad that you’ll never actually be able to go through the secret passage in the Clue mansion…

Clever and funny insight into the world of theme park design
If you’re curious about what it’s like to design theme parks, or worked in the industry and need to feel seen, check out the D&D Ticket podcast. Part creative brainstorm, part D&D campaign, it’s like being invited to a Blue Sky session with your favorite coworker. You know, the one you always get in trouble with for laughing too hard with in meetings.

A great listen with a phenomenal group of people
It’s been such a blast listening to this podcast, the cast seems like they’re having so much fun. It’s great being back in the theme park zone with these guys and I will continue to listen to every episode. Every week there’s a (mostly) new cast that brings their theme park expertise to come up with awesome ideas. Zane and Ken have done a really amazing job with this project!
