Samina Malik is much more than an accomplished name in the beauty world. After 20 years in the industry, she has a vision. As an artist who is widely known for her talent, creativity, genuine professionalism and immeasurable integrity, Samina is working on a new goal to develop Sceptrhood---a group where women support each other’s strengths. “My mission is to unite women and to celebrate how strong we really are!” she says. Even when women are struggling, they need a strong base to fall back on. And from there, they can rise together. This is the essence of Sceptrhood, and also makes a play on the name of Samina’s new and upcoming makeup brand, Sceptr Cosmetics. The brand aims to fundamentally promote the well-being of women and the power of sisterhood.
Originally from London (UK) but now based in Singapore, her unique vision and persistence has seen her grow from an artist, to a beauty coach and now an inventor and entreprenuer. Alongside doing make-up for big clients, being a mother-of-four, running a successful business, and being a beauty coach, Samina launched Sceptr in March 2019, with its first run of lip colours that NEVER run even in Singapore heat.
Anyone who has worked with Samina is immediately encapsulated by her charming persona. She has an incredible reputation for her art and all her clients become her lifelong customers. Without a doubt, she personifies everything modern which makes her one of the most sought after beauty experts and artists in town. She is career-driven and she wears all these insignias with ease.

The healing benefits of art in the medical field and the research done by Dr. Marlaine Figueroa Gray
Marlaine Figueroa Gray, PhD, is a medical anthropologist with a passion for eliciting illness narratives and health care experiences from patients, family members, and medical professionals. She has researched how the intersection of creative practices and medical care provide insight into understanding the logic of biomedical care, what counts as evidence that a creative activity "works," and how arts activities can serve as a model of how to provide better, more patient- and family-centered care. She is particularly interested in how we attend to patient suffering, and in what types of care are possible when no medical treatments are available.
Her previous work includes examining education policy in sub-Saharan Africa and developing curricula for health education, specifically HIV/AIDS education in Kenya and Mozambique.

Kimberlee Peterson is an American photographer. The first 25 years of her journey were spent in front of the camera as an actor. But in 2010, health issues would change the trajectory of her life and open up the world of photography. A space she has spent the last three years creating art in while healing and growing.
In 2020, Kimberlee’s limited series “brokeN,” was born. Using a therapeutic lens, she was able to capture the raw human emotion of her subjects suffering through quarantine, COVID-19, and social and political unrest. The series was published in the German online art magazine Tagree and OpenEye a French online art magazine.
In 2022, OpenEye also featured Kimberlee’s latest limited series called “Duplicitous.” Which is a play on the masks people wear and the things often hidden behind them.
As the owner of Lotta Photography, she stays busy behind the lens and, most recently, has made her directorial debut on a short film, that will be hitting the festival circuit.
