Full disclosure, we aren’t big fans of The Daily Wire but most honest critics of this controversial documentary have found value in the information unearthed by conservative commentator Matt Walsh. To best serve both the Trans community AND the entire community as a whole, we can’t shy away from addressing issues raised by those who may appear to be an “enemy”. Grant and I have lots of questions and hesitations surrounding the transgender debate. Should children be subjected to puberty blockers? Should trans-women compete with biological women in sporting events? Discussions breed solutions, and I wanted to sit down and digest this documentary and springboard into an honest conversation of where we are on Transgender topics and rights. With the recently leaked draft of a Supreme Court decision, there signaled the court's intention to overturn one of the most landmark decisions of the last century: Roe v. Wade. This decision, effectively enshrining abortion rights for all women across the country, has been under fire and hotly debated since it was handed down.
