God cannot be bought
Jesus is incorruptible. He is not motivated by money, pride, or all the luxuries that come alongside. He cannot be bought, and one day, we will be made the same!

The biblical narrative
As entertaining as science fiction and fantasy books are, they can never compare to the biblical narrative, which sheds light on the true nature of mankind.

What does it truly mean to turn your back on God?
what does a life without God truly look like? When we decide to turn our backs on God, we're not just giving up Bible study or prayer or church attendance, we are giving up the creator himself.

The Hero
Jesus is the true hero. He has already defeated death and he, in the end, will defeat the devil. Every fictional story enjoys to portray a hero who defeats the villain. The issue is that every human hero is flawed, and so in the end, fails to be the true hero. A human hero is relatable. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be an engaging character. Jesus is only relatable when a person makes the decision to walk through the narrow gate. At every other time, people create a misrepresented Jesus who is only a good person who does good things. Salt and Light
Our actions speak more of what we truly believe than our words. Hi, my name is Illya, and I am a Christian. Let's talk about what it means to be the salt of the Earth and the light of the world. Salt is used as a preservative. We are to go out into the world and form relationships, preserve them, rather than shatter them. The light comes from God. We are to go out into the world and shine God's light, so that others may see that light in us and give glory to God, or at least begin to think about the truth of God. The beatitudes are a way of life with God. When Jesus declares that we are the salt of the Earth and the light of the world, it means we are to go out into the world and show others that way of life. Thank you for listening. I am grateful for your support. Please leave a comment below and a rating on the show.

Blessed are the Persecuted
Take a moment to rejoice with me. Jesus has endured what we are enduring, the persecutions, as well as the temptations to sin. It is because of this that he is worthy to be called our high priest. He knows what we are experiencing, and so understands how to best comfort us. Hi, my name is Illya. Let’s talk about persecution. Contrary to popular belief, God, through the Bible, never promises to shower us with healthy and wealthy lives. In fact, the Bible speaks of the opposite. Jesus says that those who suffer persecution are blessed, and the kingdom of heaven is theirs. We are blessed. Peter wrote that we should not be surprised when fiery trials come our way. To be a Christian is to experience difficulties with God’s comforting presence by our side.

Blessed are the Pure in Heart and the Makers of Peace
Hi, let’s talk about precisely what it means to be pure in heart and a maker of peace. In Proverbs 16:1-3, Solomon says that the plans of the heart belong to man and that all his ways are pure in his own eyes. David planned to commit murder against Uriah, all for the purpose of committing adultery with his wife, Bathsheba. Was his heart pure? After all, he did beg God to create in him a clean heart, and to renew a steadfast spirit within him. Solomon continues the proverb by saying that man should commit his way to the Lord and his plans will be established. In other words, if he establishes his plans with the Lord, he will then commit his heart to the Lord. What if you plan to make peace? Solomon has a proverb on that as well. Those who make peace will have joy. James says that the only way to gather righteousness is by planting peace by someone who makes peace. Someone who plans peace, in other words. Put on the shoes of the armor of God in order to be ready to walk in peace given by the gospel.
