This is by far one of my favorite podcasts. Father you are so insightful and full of godly wisdom. Please stop shaming the name of Jesus with your profanity. Every time you curse I have to turn the show off and I hate that.

Thank you for investigating the plight of the traditional faithful. We want to stand with Jesus, wherever He leads us with the Holy Spirit. May the Vatican allow this spirit to work among the faithful to save families and souls. He said let your yes be your yes and your no be your no, anything else is from the devil. Please pray for simple faith like a child in a good Father.

I was recently turned onto this podcast and I am so glad that I was. Fr. McTeigue is extremely intelligent and very traditional, offering a thoughtful and pastoral approach to complex issues and current events. The way this PRIEST talks about people is shallow offensive and cringe worthy. Very alarming this man touts himself as a man of god. Hard pass.

I greatly appreciate Fr. McTeigue’s clever wit and incisive commentary on the state of the Catholic Church in the modern world. As a Catholic who is trying to be faithful to Christ, Fr. McTeigue has convicted me to increase my devotion, not settle for mediocrity, and demolish my rationalizations. This is a painful time for Catholics who see the depth of spiritual crisis and are scandalized by the lack of proportional response, as well as the seeming capitulation to the World by large swathes of the Church. My faith has greatly increased by hearing brilliant, faithful Catholic Priests and lay people squarely face the issues. They do not pretend all is well but that the world really is fallen. The truth of the Catholic faith gives me hope. ¡Viva Christo Rey!

The Roman Catholic Church needs more leaders like Fr. McTeague. The dwindling Jesuit Order needs more vocations inspired by St. Ignatius and the like of Fr. McTeague

Father McTigue gives us an opportunity to educate ourselves on the current issues and disturbing trends which seem to have taken over our society. Listening to his witty and satiric take on some of these issues is enlightening and entertaining. His guests provide us with much needed points of view from their side of the aisle. Fear not, there is light and hope at the end of the tunnel. He always ends his show by asking his guest to give us a reason for hope!! God bless you and keep you Father.

I long for intelligent conversations about significant topics. They are hard to find these days. The next best thing is to listen to Father McTeigue’s Catholic Current show, where such conversations take place every day. In my opinion, this is the best show on Catholic radio.

Fr McTeigue’s podcast provides hope and truth because he faithfully and boldly interprets current events through the lens of the Gospel, i.e., our Lord’s words. I really appreciate that his episodes are well researched, with excellent guests discussing very relevant topics. While most of the the Catholic church “leadership” is failing to protect or perhaps intentionally misleading the faithful, that is not the case with Fr McTeigue. We need more of our priests, bishops, and even the Pope, to preach the Gospel as Fr does. Damned be the temptations of this world. Only our Lord and Savior Christ and his Truth can save us now. Glory and honor and praise be to the Holy Trinity, one God, forever and ever.

Catholic priests are behaving and speaking like fascists, dripping poison into the ears of their followers. It’s sad. Christians claim that they hold something incalculably precious and yet they traded that for a mess of pottage called Trump.

A brave show that almost never misfires. How have woke Jesuits not squashed this host? Church fidelity with high intellect, cheer, and humor.

I’m always impressed with the excellent guests Fr. McTeigue has on the program to discuss both timely topics as well as timeless topics. His thoughtful analysis of often complex subjects is very refreshing, all delivered with a dry sense of humor that has produced more than one belly laugh!

Intelligent analysis. I get so much out of listening to these podcasts. When events leave me feeling down or anxious I can find words I need to get my focus back to Jesus.

This show blew me away. I was so distressed to learn about the betrayal of some of our Church’s organizations who do not follow Catholic teachings. We need institutions like Lepanto to help us determine what organizations are safe. And we need programs like The Catholic Current to lead us in the truth.

This has become my primary, everyday podcast. Each episode provides important subject matter to ponder and valuable spiritual and moral instruction, often with interesting guests, along with Father’s admonitions to reflect and pray. I listen to many of them twice. Fr. McTeigue is pushing me down the path toward God with clarity and charity (often making me laugh along the way), and I thank him for it.

This episode is one of Father McTeigue’s best. We need to return to One Nation under Almighty God instead of One Nation under Man or Secularism. The scholarship Father expresses in layman’s terms is outstanding. This is a must listen to podcast and hopefully will be listened to by millions of Catholics and non Catholics as we strive for our Heavenly Kingdom, our true home.

Father McTeigue and guests have brought me significantly closer to our Lord and have given me countless thought-provoking topics to meditate on. Father McTeigue has the best of intentions for each and every one of his listeners. Through this podcast I was introduced to the TLM, have learned more than I would have on Google about home schooling my future children, and have a much better understanding of the virtues and values of a devoted Catholic. The variety and diversity of topics and guests never ceases to surprise me. I will keep you and your staff in my prayers that you all continue your wonderful works and spread the good news to millions more.

Father McTeigue reveals the man behind the curtain and what you can do about it from a Catholic perspective. Several times a week, he also interviews other spiritual warriors in the culture war, which enables the enlightened listener to dig deeper into the nature of reality if they so choose.

You da man! You da man! You da philosophy man! Is this the best of all podcasts? By what measure and in relation to what? After much thought yes, yes methinks! This is the most engaging and thought provoking podcast I have stumbled across presented in unending humor, brilliant insight all cloaked in humility. Topics of timely importance and endlessly thought provoking. I enjoy listening multiple times to some of the daily episodes. Thank you Fr Mctiegue for working so hard on this podcast. So glad I discovered the catholic current!

Fr. McTeigue and his guests address topics relevant to the conversations that I have daily. I always find the analysis outstanding and faithful to the Church’s perennial teachings. Someone once said that “Faith is the first purification of the intellect”, meaning that reasoning with the truths of the faith leads reason beyond its own capabilities. This podcast, I think, is an excellent real world example of how faith should form the Catholic intellect. Thank you, Father, for all you do!

Self-described “dark, brooding, melancholic, Irishman with an apocalyptic imagination” Outstanding! But any innate tendency towards melancholy yields to his Catholic faith. Fr. McTeigue conveys that while spiritual battles need to be fought in these dark times and so many have rejected Jesus, the outcome of the war has already been decided and Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph. Fr. McTeigue discerns truth and reason amidst the false gods of secularism and materialism and lukewarm, cafeteria Catholicism. His podcasts are always relevant, challenging, insightful, faithful to traditional Catholicism and highly entertaining without compromising the call to conversion. Like a modern day desert father, his is a voice that cries out in the social media wilderness “prepare the way for the Lord, clear a straight path for him”

Fr McTeigue is a breath of fresh air with all that is going on with the world and the Church. He’s what a Jesuit preist should be and makes me laugh out loud almost every episode. I appreciate his traditional outlook and dedication to the truth. We need more priests like him! Thank you Father.
