Catholic Cafe is Great
I am recovering from knee surgery and like to listen to something when I am doing my knee stretches. This is the best podcast I have found all summer.

Thank you
Thank you for creating this podcast. It was the first one I found that I actually enjoyed, could relate to, and could understand. There are others that I found after but I always come back here and tell my friends to listen too!

What a find!
Wow! I'm so excited to have found this podcast. The topics are so enticing. What a wonderful way to delve deeper into the mysteries of our faith and grow closer to the Lord. And the 28 minute length make them perfect to listen to while washing dishes or doing laundry!

Great teaching!
Deacon Jeff creates a casual setting to present some great teaching about the Catholic faith. I really enjoy listening to the discussions presented on this show. I also enjoy learning about the great Saints of the church presented by his wife, Bess, in the middle of each show.

Love this podcast
Refreshing to find a podcast that explains why we as Catholics believe what we believe and the scripture to back it up! The hosts are funny and a joy to listen to!

You have no idea how much this podcast will help me!
I've spent hours trying to find a spiritual, preferably Catholic, podcast. After hours and weeks searching, I began to think I was being too picky since I couldn't find one that fit all my
criteria - one that wasn't too long or too short or over the top evangelistic, one that had some depth to it but not over my head, one that was designed with a topic of interest for each episode, one that wasn't someone promoting their book or a mass communications major calling himself spiritual just to have his own podcast, one whose hosts didn't elaborate on their week more than they spoke of the message, and one rich in content and straight to the point. You know, just a simple podcast, right? I thought I was asking too much and one like that didn't exist. Until now! Thank you Deacon Jeff! I'll have to ask my mom if she knows you. She serves on the International Catholic Stewardship Council board and works for the Diocese of Lafayette, La. Her name is Connie. Take care and thanks again!

What I have been looking for!!!!
This is an answer to my prayers! It is a Catholic podcast that goes into the topics that all Catholics should be aware of and understand. I am always quoting conversations from "the cafe" to my friends and random people when we talk about faith and Catholic traditions amd beliefs. Thank you for this podcast!

About your Pro Life Podcast
I have just written an evaluation essay about this topic. I was evaluating why it is so important to be pro life and be against abortion. There are so many other options out there for people to choose from. A common argument I hear all of the time is "Well what if the pregnancy is a product of a crime to the mother?" The harsh answer is, that is unfortunate. As you stated you cannot do what you want with your body what you want because there are limits. It is not the baby's fault and should not be condemned due to the parent's faults. The best solution for the baby's well being is at stake not the mother's, which is carrying it to term and either raising it right or adopting it to a family who will raise it right. Abortion is not a political matter of being part of our rights. It is a life and throwing it away because for the majority you cannot reap what you sow. For those who were unfortunate to have such a horrible crime done to them, I feel for you and I am not judging any choice that was made, I am just saying that because of the unfortunate event there is another innocent life involved now and there is a way to allow them to live and have a chance at being the wonderful human they turn out to be. So to sum up this review, I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying and appreciate the view presented to us by your podcast.

Thanks a Latte!
This is a wonderful Podcast! I love the informal format - like a talk show or having coffee with a friend. I've learned so much listening to this Podcast, too. I only wish Deacon Tom would post more often. Oh ! and the "Church History" Moment , with Deacon's wife, is great, too! I wish they sold Cappa cups to share a cup of coffee while listening, too :)

I want a seat at the Catholic Cafe!!!
I have been listening to Catholic podcasts for the better part of 5 years now, and I have to say this podcast is fantastic!! The topics were interesting, the conversation was engaging, and overall, this is a top-notch podcast that you really WANT to listen to! Alot of the "Big Names" in Catholic podcasting would do well to take a few pointers from Catholic Cafe. Well worth your time and well worth your ipod or iphones memory.

Nice Fresh Approach for Christian Podcast.
This is not your typical podcast where there are boring lectures on boring subjects. Instead there is pleasant informal discussion among a group of well balanced people who enjoy life and have a passion for the truth. A great program format that breaks away for some interesting historical tidbits ... and then returns for interesting discussions. Well done. Listening time was 1/2 hour but seemed much quicker because of the quality of the discussion.
