Just a calming experience
I am not a movie guy, I prefer the short and portable videos from YouTube and other such websites. That is why I like this podcast, it talks about the movies I would never watch myself, and has great discussions on the inner meaning. These two smooth voiced duded are too cool for fools.

Inspirational!
As a 17 year old passionate film fan going into his senior year of high school I was very excited when I found a podcast dedicated to the art of film from two of the creative and hilarious guys at Normalboots. This podcast inspired me in a couple of ways. For one as someone who wants to make filmmaking a career someday it's been awesome to hear two guys much older and wiser then I that still share that hunger to be creative and to keep exploring. The second way the show inspired me was a bit more direct. I had been president of my schools book club all of last year and while I love literature I felt a bit out of place, having only ran for president because no one else did. Film was my real passion. When I stumbled upon your podcast I came to the realization that it had a similar structure to our book club and an idea was sparked in my mind. So this year I've decided to gather all my friends and try and get a film club started at our school. One where we could watch a new film every week and then meet and have an actual discussion about the ideas presented in the film, the cinematic techniques that were used, and the art form in general. Thank you guys so much for inspiring me and possibly making my senior year the best one yet ( if I can get this club off the ground that is!) You guys rock!!! -Brandon

Smart Guys
…but not *that* Smart Guys. Not yet, at least. Satch and Nick do a fantastic job of analyzing and discussing films, without feeling like they're talking down to their audience, or pulling any intellectual punches. They’ll make you laugh, but more importantly they'll make you think. Give it a listen, even if you’ve only got a fleeting interest in film.

Intellectual Discourse
The amount of respect and interest Nick and Satchel show each other's opinions creates a pleasant and stimulating discussion. They are not similar enough to create a stale and stagnant experience, nor are they different enough to create heated and incompatible positions. I greatly appreciate the implicit cues the two give each other to allow the other to speak free of interruptions, allowing for clear and intelligible dialogue.

Enjoyable and Thought-Provoking
This podcast is a perfect optimistic foil to Red-Letter Media; equally as intelligent, but with a more positive angle.

A much needed colloquial spin on in-depth cinema discussion.
Nick and Satchell do an amazing job traversing the subtleties of the cinematic medium in a way that doesn’t come off as pretentious, but rather chummy and intelligent. They are highly receptive and respectful of each others opinions, motivating the listener to seek deeper interpretation of cinema without fear of judgement or persecution. In this sense, every conversation feels like a night with friends whether it is the diner-talk after a movie, or those exploratory late-night conversations before falling asleep. My movie review suggestion would be Primer. A personal favorite, and one I think will strike up some great conversation about intelligent filmmaking on a low budget. In particular, it coincides with the podcast’s theme that a movie need not explain itself to the audience, but only function well in its own devices in a way that best tells a story. -Keith from Philadelphia

Made Me Watch Classics
The discussions are great, without being pretentious and makes you think about the said films. My only qualms is that it isn’t longer.

The podcast I was in quest of.
As a high schooler who is interested in pursuing a career in film, I have been studying the best and worst the industry has to offer. Though this pursuit, I have acquired both a considerable sum of movies and an overwhelming respect for the art. Then comes a podcast hosted by two of my favorite video game youtubers on the topic of cinema. I love the input you guys have for each of the movies I've watched prior to the podcast and I love the movies you have introduced me to. Her, Eternal Sunshine, The Puffy Chair, There Will Be Blood, all fantastic. I get to experience the film twice and from two different perspectives, thanks to you guys. Thank you, Nick and Satchell, for hosting this podcast. You guys rock.

More Than a Book Club
Not only has this podcast opened me up to some movies I had never seen before, it also promotes thoughtful discussion and analysis of movies I have already seen in the past. Definitely a podcast I will share with my friends, as well as continue listening to on my own.

Honest and Captivating
Having had the amazing luck to have met and talked to both of the hosts I can say that they are very honest in their personalities and love for what they are talking about. If you want to learn how to love movies as art this is a great place to start.

Amazing. Tenouttaten.
As a person who has come to really love and appreciate the finer points of film, I already went into this podcast with high expectations. And I was not disappointed. I've already come across Satchell and Nick through the stuff they post with video games, so it was already made that much easier for me to digest this podcast. These two are clearly attune to all the subtleties of movies and listening to them just makes me want to join in on the conversation. Wonderful work, guys. Keep it up.

A thoughtful look at films
Satchel and Nick have thoughtful and insightful conversations on films. It's a refreshing contrast to the hugely popular trend of taking apart films we hate, and instead discussing films we love. What makes this even better is they discuss films they know are good, but are hard to recommend in casual conversation, such as "12 Angry Men", which I'm sitting down to watch now thanks to this podcast. Everyone has those kind of films, and I'm glad someone is sharing them. Thanks Satch and Nick.

Amazing
I love everything about this podcast. They have really soothing voices, which is great for late-night listening. The movies they talk about are not ones I would typically hear on a podcast. They're original and really know what they're talking about.

Relaxing yet engaging listen
I've always loved movies and video games, and this podcast takes some of my favorite YouTube game reviewers and my love of movies and mashes it together in an almost sensual way. I told my wife that Satch and Nick Murphy had a podcast where they talk about movies and she instantly started sweating and breathing heavy. So yeah. Give it a listen. (P.S. If you guys read this, I wanna hear it in Satchel's vocal chocolate.)

Must listen.
Satch and Nick are extremely well informed and great at cluing in the listener on what they're thinking. First podcast I've ever listened to that feels as immersive as other mediums like film and video games.

This is a really great podcast (sorry... "Cinecast") for serious talk and analysis of movies. If you're a movie person, give it a listen!

A much needed service
In-depth movie deconstructions by two well-spoken men with a relaxed atmosphere. As someone with a blind spot to multilayered interpretations of films, Satchell and Nick guide me through their analysis in a clear and understandable way, allowing me to appreciation the depth of some films I might have missed. Every episode is pure gold.

Listen to These Silky Smooth Voices
I was already a big fan of both of these guys and when I found this telecast I was pumped. You get to listen to these two genius people dive into movies that either you've watched or probably should watch. I personally like this more then their other stuff (not by much though) just because it's so great. Also why wouldn't you want these guys to be smooth talking right into your ears?

Love it
I was getting a bit tired of listening to nothing but business and history podcasts, so I checked this out based on my love of Satchell's channel. In short, it's awesome. If you want to feel like you're hanging out with two cool guys discussing movies in an in-depth, yet still fun way, listen to this.

Them silky smooth voices...
Ive been watching Continue? for about 3 years now and its one of my favorite online webshows. I only recently started watching Satchels videos but he quickly became another favorite of mine. One of my favorite aspects of both shows is their vast amount of movie references thoughout the episodes. So i was naturally extremly excited to hear these two started a podcast focusing on movies. It makes me so happy to finnally hear Nick Murphy to star in another podcast and even happier that its with Satchel. This podcast is fantastic so far (bonus points for having Donnie Darko as an episode already) and i just cant wait for more! Nick i love u bby and I want Satchel to hug me just sayin...

One of the best!
I love both of the hosts and their respective Youtube channels. This is a podcast I didn't even know I wanted, and I'm loving it! I hope this project thrives. The only suggestion I have is maybe the CA hosts could mention the next weeks movie at the end of the cast, that way I can prep for the next weeks show to better understand/remember the talking points.

Unraveling the Reel For Your Consideration
The proficiency with which Nick Murphy and Satchel Drakes thoughtfully and diligently unpack movies is a craft that perfectly demonstrates their devotion to the world of cinema. Film buffs and casual moviegoers alike should give this podcast a chance and see if the deep and meaningful dialogue Nick and Satch carry out doesn't tickle your interest and leave you with new perspectives to carry into your own exploration or revisiting of the films they cover.

Awesome!
I've been looking for a podcast that really sinks its critical teeth into movies, and I'm happy to say that this has fulfilled that role perfectly. Nick and Satchel are obviously scholars on all things cinema with varied and detailed ideas to bring to the table, but their genuine passion for movies makes this podcast as palatable as it is thought-provoking. Sure, they played to my heart by kicking things off with some Spike Jonze, but I would have stuck around regardless. Great work, you guys! I look forward to a lot more of these!

From the first five minutes they got me hook, line, and subscribed. Two men intelligently discuss the subtler points of movies and have a great time doing it. Thanks for making this show, Nick and Satchel!
