The Bumpy Road
The Bumpy Road
Stuart Scott
At some stage in every business leader’s life they were a student faced with decisions. In all likelihood these decisions shaped their careers for better or worse and led them to the role they’re in now. While many young people and students think they have to nail every course or decision in order to succeed, we believe it’s the bumps in the road and how you respond and learn from them, that shape the type of person and leader you become. The Bumpy Road is a podcast that explores the ups and downs faced by leaders in the early stages of their careers, the learnings they gained and the advice they’d give to their younger self. We also asked leaders to provide insights to the next wave of talent – what they look for, what they value, what they believe leads to success in the workplace. Along the way, we’ll get some career horror stories and amusing anecdotes that show leaders are human and not every mistake is the death of a career. Strap yourself in for a bumpy ride!
