A corrupt system needs protection to keep it's rogues insulated from the penalties of justice. The crazy thing about this is that our tax dollars buy certain people police protection, but you as a person of color uncertainty and anxiety. If you happen to meet an officer in your daily routine you can't guarantee that you'll walk away from the encounter alive. History has proven this. When were we programmed to fear what our tax dollars pay for? Our elected officials instigate and cultivate such fears by voting against our interest that could bring accountability and responsibility to present day policing. Some have chosen to stay silent when police brutalities and atrocities happen. Their silence adds insult to injuries. In the city of Wilmington Delaware. We are told at times to trust the system, and wait it out. How long must we wait for justice when our tax dollars have paid for the latest technologies that are supposed to keep citizens safe and keep cops honest? How long? The one thing that you will see is people in power control narratives, media, and history. They kill us twice. First our bodies in the public eye to justify their wrong doing by portraying us as thugs. Secondly our reputations paraded in the courts of public opinion. This justifies the wrong doing against black and brown bodies at the hands of police. This has been the scenario that has worked for years. We will remember the silence of our so called friends in government. Start looking at voting records and who stays silent in times like this

Along the journey of life God uses vehicles and life situations to bring us to a place of choice. The choice at times will be viewed as a temptation to hold on to the past or live a purpose that will be prophetic and bring not only deliverance for others, but for you as well. The black church has been a hub and source of strength for the black community.Many of the rights we have today come from the sacrifices and the power that the black church holds. Many talented creatives have come from the black church. Our church is rich in history from Bethel to Ebenezer. Our church gets its Christian roots from Africa with the early Christian fathers and writers being men of color in that region. However we have lost a lot of history due to the whitewashing of Christianity. Whitewashing has made that which was black now white. That which gave us freedom now chains. In return we got a slave Bible and our slave masters made themselves gods and made white Jesus to be their God, and the greatest weapon against black Christians. We must fight against ignorance as well as identity cults which seek to steal our black men and women.
