Solid information
I genuinely learn something every time I listen to this show! Jamil and the cast are entertaining to listen to and I can rest easy knowing that whatever advice these folks give, it’s more good knowledge than I started with!

This show is like getting crabs. Yes you had a lot of fun but now you have the itch.

Distasteful
Was hoping more from a podcast with John Palmer in it, but the group of guys that host it are vulgar, and say extremely disturbing/distasteful things. With every other word being something about a penis, getting laid or getting a blow job, I forget it’s about beer and instead find myself wanting to vomit. Oh yea and the loud burps in my ears every 5 minutes are annoying as hell. It’s like a show for 20 year old frat boys- and absolutely turns off any chances of having female listeners. Hopefully this show will cease to exist so that the brewing community can have a little pride back that it has stolen.

Okay
There’s good information there if you can get to it. They spend a lot of time smacking, drinking, saying mindless,”yeahhhhh, mmmmm, so.... yeah....” it’d be great if they could spare us the on-air drinking and smacking and general lackadaisical attitude toward getting to the only reason I listen: to hear quality content. I have to fast forward 15 minutes before they begin to get to anything resembling content - and then it’s a bunch of ads. So do yourself a favor and look around. There’s a lot of brew podcasts with more professional approaches that you won’t need to wade through heaps of waste to enjoy.

Old shows were better
The old shows were so much better. It's pretty clear in the latest episodes Jamil is checked out and over doing this and always says "not enough information" to any question to avoid continuing leaving John hanging to share information. I understand burnout and it might be time for him to wrap up the show and let someone that has the passion to engage and help home brewers step in. Before the past year, the show was incredibly helpful and great resource, now it's chore to listen to.

Still strong!
I've learned so much from this podcast! The conversations between Jamil and Jon are very entertaining, making sometimes boring subject matters quite enjoyable! Keep it up!

Downward Spiral
While the older episodes of this show are informative, more recent ones have become disappointing. It appears as though they are running out of material and fill most of the show with advertisements, endorsements and ramblings about John and Jamil's recent and upcoming travels. New shows are not being released to apple podcast on any predictable frequency Has degraded to a point where there is really very little homebrewing knowledge being imparted. I'm sure Jamil is busy with his own commercial brewery and might not have the time to devote that he presumably had in the past. I guess all good things must come to an end...

Awesome show!
Just wanted to drop off my review and tell you how much I enjoy podcasts like Brew Strong. I was listing to the show from 2/27/17 with John Blichmann. When you started talking about Great Fermentations as a sponsor, John mentioned he was in the store one day when a customer was shopping for a burner. That was me!! I tweeted to the show a picture a little bit ago. It was quite funny. John was talking about the difference between the Blichmann line and Anvil line of burners, and when I decided to go with the Blichmann burner, he jokingly asked if I wanted him to sign it. Lesson to learn, always have a sharpie handy! Anyways, love the show. Continue doing what you do!!

OK
These guys know what they are doing, but as with other BN shows, this show is too long and filled with alot of useless, uninteresting, personal converstations between the hosts. Each show starts out with a conversation of where the hosts have been the past week or two and what they will be doing the next few days. Doesn't sound that bad, these conversations are about 10 mintues long, unstructured, and generally boring. For each hour long show, you'll get 20-30 minutes of well structured entertaining show.

They know their stuff, but enough with the dick jokes.
This is an extremely informative podcast, and I really want to enjoy listening to it, but all of the information is buried under a layer of unnecessary explicit jocularity that just isn’t my style. If they could somehow refrain from making dick jokes, grow up a bit and just talk about making beer or running a brewery business, this could be a great resource. I just don’t understand why a show like this needs to be ‘explicit’.

Beer geeks unite!
Fantastic technical information, and funny to boot.

Way too many ads
The information is pretty good, but it's lightly sprinkled through a program that borders on frathouse banter sometimes. The intro segments are routinely useless and don't relate at all to the episode's topic. Also, there are AT LEAST as many ads as there are in a comparably long television or radio program, which is kind of ridiculous. Some of the ads are straightforward and decent, but the other 20 minutes of them are poor attempts at humor and a couple are straight up racist. Please, no more weird pastiches of 60s-70s era black jive-talking characters.

The Trifecta
I can't call the race between the three Brewing Network podcasts that I listen to, but it's great not having to make that call! Brew Strong shares the stage with The Jamil Show and the Sunday Sessions as another great source of brewing information for the home brewers, or someone that just wants to know more about the beer they drink and how it's made! Aspiring beer/brewing geeks are guaranteed to find what they're looking for here. Brewing Network, heck yeah, coming to save the feather plucking day yeah! (Sing to the tune of any one of your favorite Trey Parker tunes).

Very informative
These podcasts are crucial for the homebrewer who wants to learn how to make great beer! They are very informative and really know how to point you in the right direction. They make you think about every step you make and the guys make it become intuitive.

Get ready to geek out on beer!!
Really well produced show...for each topic, it starts from the ground up and provides very technical information in a way that is easy to understand! Thank you Jamil & John - my beer has really gone to the next level and I want to say THANK YOU. Even better - they're cool guys that you'd like to sit down, have a beer and continue to learn from what they're doing / seeing... Keep it up

The only BN show worth listening to
There is a lot of good beer information here, and it doens't take 5 hours to listen to get to it. This show is the closest the BN will ever come to being relevant for any reason besides to themselves and their Pacheco, CA buddies. However, even this show is quite full of lengthy distractions and pointless personal digressions by the hosts.

Best brewcast available
These guys are great! Extremely knowledgeable and really strive to explain their concepts on a level that is understandable for everybody. Even on the most complex topics I find myself understanding darn near everything. It's absolutely great! I highly suggest taking the time to listen through all of them since every session has something new to offer.

AWESOME
This show offers a great avenue to learn and improve as a homebrewer. Two knowledgeable hosts pull in experts on show topics, offering new insights, refreshing old knowledge, and providing a comprehensive look at how the pieces of the puzzle fit together. The show is applicable to anyone of any skill level brewing beer. I commend them for their great work!
