Please look into this man’s very long history of grifting. He is profiting off of other people’s pain. Scam goddess has a great episode about this. Do not give this fraud your money. There are many people out there doing great work for the Black community and for Palestine who do not have a history of shady behavior.

You can’t and shouldn’t “break down” the history of a people, cause, culture or nuanced issue in 15 minutes with ads. His coverage of complex issues is childish and lends itself to absurd conclusions. He lacks any shred of humility to come anywhere close to a reliable scholar. Of anything. Except, maybe, himself.

There are few people left who have credibility solely because of their deeds and moral compass. Mr. King has always been an intellectual and moral voice on the most serious and pressing issues. I may not always agree, but I think better and am more informed after hearing the concise and thoughtful perspectives here.

The work this man is doing cannot be described or underestimated. He is teaching and exposing injustices and this isn’t even describing accurately what this podcast or his other works.

Speaking up at Qatar and sharing how the money you’re fundraising is being spent. I was skeptical because as a middle eastern and also a black woman, I had bought into some of the controversy around how Shaun is using funds he raises. Reality is right now in Gaza he’s showing exactly who the money is going to and how it’s being used. He’s standing up for Palestinians.

I have been a subscriber for years and have never left with anything less than factual information. Thank you for being brutally honest and always supporting the marginalized, the underprivileged, underrepresented and the voiceless. We need more like you Shaun. You don’t get this many 5 star reviews by chance and I happily add another.

Shaun King jumps the gun on stories without waiting for the real facts and adds his own spin on things. He claims to be a leader and an ally to the black community but he is harmful. He thrives (emotionally and financially) on keeping people angered and enraged. Even if he has to go into the past and dig up old stories. He denies the truth of data and numbers. His podcasts are so short bc he’s got nothing. Just mini rants full of misguided anger and false intelligence. His platform is depressing and cringe. If you want to have a positive life and make a real difference, start by staying away from this toxicity. Don’t let him drag you down with him.

It saddens me to know that there are people like Shaun influencing this world.

You need to step up your game, talking about name pronunciation and crying about your reputation is a mute point. Are you aware the worst famine in the world is occurring in Somalia? You need to speak about important Black issues and quit being so self serving. Having a podcast, you have a duty to inform your listeners and focus on intellectual topics.

I love following Shaun because, as he points out in his podcast this week, he is truly consistent. He brings to light atrocities that occur globally. He amplifies all voices that need to be heard. He doesn’t have the blind spots that many in the Western media choose to continue to have. Bravo to Shaun for being an example for us all.
