All Episodes
I have listened to over 2 dozen episodes now and have learned so much. Great source of practical knowledge.

Valuable Info
These experienced cruisers tackle super practical topics that go beyond sail trim and daydreaming about your next location. Yes, sometimes the sound isn’t great and production could use improvement but the wisdom provided is well worth it.

Boring, Bad Sound
Even with a short format, it seems the hosts struggle to find sufficient content. Sometimes it seems poorly conceived, and more often poorly executed. Carolyn’s sound quality is simply atrocious. I think I originally began listening before practical tips and tricks were replaced by amorphous solutions to existential dilemmas. Maybe this plays well to some listeners, but I’ve opted to unsubscribe rather than struggle to remain engaged.

What about Storms?
I enjoyed Lin’s talk on storms and the anticipation being scarier than the actual storm. Lin and Larry have always been an advocate of getting out in stronger winds and getting used to your equipment and practicing what to do when the weather is less than perfect. Time for a refresher myself. Thanks Lin. It’s hard to argue with the voice of experience. Paul - Saint Charles, IL

Agreed!
I loved your Boat Bed Challenges Post! My husband and I are boat-less right now saving for our blue water sail away boat and your description of making a boat bed while on the mattress you are trying to make up brings back so many vivid memories! Thanks for the link to Quahog Bay Bedding and our Boat Sheets. Our sheets make it “easier” to make the bed but it’s never very easy to make a boat bed! Best wishes on your renovation! Beth

Love the information but...
I download and listen to almost every podcast but just a little constructive criticism.... the music comes across much louder than the voices. It is annoying to have to continually adjust the volume during the opening minutes. Is there a way you can balance this?

Good but...
Although all the topics I find (as a future cruiser) to be extremely interesting, it is somewhat painful to listen to. The presenters start out with animation and sound like it’s a topic they know plenty about but then it inevitably turns into a long running sentence with no pauses or change in cadence. I know this isn’t a professional operation but if it you’re just reading words from a sheet of paper then it will come across that way to your listener.

Not good.
May be informative, but the host talks a million miles an hour and the audio is poor, thus compounding the problem.

Informative!
I have been back an forth about purchasing a boat so when I saw they have an episode on boat buying it was a perfect starter for me. I thought it was a great simple short and sweet overview of things to look for and places to look for them when considering buying a boat.

Excellent Podcasst!
I'm an amateure -- just getting started in sailing but i'm from the east coast and grew up by the water. While I've gone sailing I'm not a sailor. Now that I"m middle age I'm just exploring getting into it. I LOVE this podcast. I felt like I was on the water with an expert captian having conversations about all aspects of sailing. I listened to several including fish poisoning. I plan on listening to them all! I am really excited fo listen once I start lessons this summer. Thank you for an excellent podcast.
