The black male plight and existential experience is so over sensationalized and saturated in the media that people actually think they know what it’s like to be a black man. They see us in pop culture, fashion, and sports get an idea of us.

They see the constant vilification of us in the media, police brutality, and the mass incarceration and think that they understand what it means to be a black man when it’s only a fraction of what it means to be a black man in America.

In the debut Episode of The Blu Room podcast, Tap, Blake, Freddy and Catt give their take on whether or not a “Friend Date” is appropriate. Rules, regulations, and boundaries are put into question for a civil discourse and conversation.
