Two years flew by and it was a crazy ride! I'm breaking down my top 10 favorite things about the city that grew on me. 

2020 looked at their vision board and said "let me set this whole thing on fire". I'm answering a couple of the questions y'all submitted about graduate school, me living in another state and my plans for the future are.

Maybe the quality of sound isn't the greatest but I really love this conversation I had with my big sister! She is a powerhouse, a threat to mediocrity, and has been inspiring/loving on me since the day I came into this world. It's a privilege to share her story, a bigger blessing to reflect with her on how great she's become through adversity. Usually celibacy  is discussed among women, shamefully with an undertone of Church. Back at it again, speaking about spiritual walk, ironically, with someone who practices the catholic faith. This are the things that make me chuckle while saying "what a blessing in disguise". I met Rhea in college and quickly grew to love how much she loved herself. She spoke with assurance and didn't apologize for it, honestly I was a little jealous. Listen to my conversation with the friend I made while getting piercings, her battle with religiosity/spirituality and how it's all played into making her faith, her own.    While reflecting on my 100% cis-ness, I am consistently learning and growing. I do not, and will never, stand for disrespecting anyone within the LGBTQIA community and understand my position as a Christian woman to stand up for and protect those in this community from injustices, especially when holy text is used as a weapon.
