Why are women expected to raise children like they don’t work and work like they don’t have children to raise? Raising children on even the most basic level is the ultimate job. And as a Black mom of Black children my job is double off top. Furthermore, I’m a SAHM. So what’s a lunch break? What’s a vacation? What’s a paycheck? ••• Oh. SAHM = Stay At Home Mom. Aka Domestic Engineer. Aka Mrs. Know-It-All of my home. I’m the jack of all trades and the master of some. And that “some” only applies because I hate cleaning... On this podcast, I’m going to share the grievances, goals, and gratitudes of my life as a Black mother from the SAHM perspective. Because although I love it, this mom shit is no joke!
