This week, NC sits down with his mentor and guide Dr Andrew Lindsay, as we explore the endosomal recycling pathway, the enhanced role it plays in cancer, and possible therapeutic strategies to target this pathway. Dr Andrew Lindsay is the Director of the Genetics Program at University College Cork. He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, and completed is a recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship from Institut Curie. Dr Lindsay is currently focused on intracellular membrane trafficking, with a specific focus on the endosomal recycling pathway. His work is currently centered around the malfunctioning of this pathway in various types of cancer.
