Show notes

On today's show, we speak with world-renowned POP Artist, Ed Heck.

Ed talks all about what he's been up to as well as his new art exhibit.

He's holding his 'What The Duck' art exhibit in his new studio in the Morgan Fine Arts Building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on July 9th from 7-11 PM. It's FREE and open to all.

Ed is a prolific artist whose talents reach far and wide. Besides getting ready for his art exhibit, he's been actively continuing on with two previous projects:

take heART and disruptED-x.

take heART is Ed's gift to the world. He paints various heARTS and pictures on canvas and gives them to people, with his only request being that they pay his generosity forward by doing good for someone else.

His disruptED-x is his way to promote the continuation of art in public schools.

To wrap up today's show we have Holistic Health Coach and author Donna Sonkin Shaw. Donna shares with us her journey in having a child over the age of forty.

She's so passionate about what she went through, that she decided to write a book aptly titled, "Poppin' Past Forty". Here she describes, in detail, what she and her husband went through in their journey to conceive a child after the age of forty.

She backs up all of her claims with scientific experts and medical doctors who specialize in fertility, as well as nutritional facts.

As Donna says in her book, "It's miracles, not statistics".

Donna is a certified health coach accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She graduated with honors from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York as well as she completed an advanced accreditation in Integrative Nutrition and Health Counseling at Teachers College-Columbia University and she attended the esteemed Culinary Institute of America's Professional Chef Program.
