Delightful
I stumbled upon this podcast. It’s simple, different, and a story that is drawing me in. Worth the listen.

I enjoyed the story so much that I almost sad that it ended.

Wow!
This was an amazing listen!! I really enjoyed it. After you all listen to this, go check out the “Izzy” podcast. It’s an expansion of this story, and is great!

Very charming and quick Audio Drama
The concept here is really simple. A giant behemoth emerges from the Atlantic Ocean and starts walking across the US. A young high school girl sees something of herself in the beast and decides to walk with it. This is their story from the girl's perspective. It's quite gripping and it's easy to get invested in these characters. There are a lot of charming moments, but we also learn a lot about the girl and her past. It's a beautiful example of exploring what it means to be human, and I absolutely loved it!

The behemoth
I watched a segment on NH Chronicle featuring this producer so I decided to try the series.... I am now hooked!! I enjoy the brief chapters which fit easily into a short commute. I’ve been binging on the other series by this company. Highly enjoyable!!

Really enjoying the serial
I am really enjoying the serial, but seems to have petered out before the final, or I may be missing how to get the episdodes that come after a certain date.

Great Story
I really enjoyed Behemoth, along with the sequel Izzy. Though I prefer the storytelling format Izzy made use of, this first installment has a captivating and heartwarming story. Not the best for young audiences, but a great story for teens and adults.

Great
Even though it feels short, it was definitely good.

Absolutely loved this series.
As with every other series released by Rick Coste, Bryar Lane is amazing! I highly recommend checking out this organization's other series as well, and donating to keep these series coming! ❤️

Dreadfully boring
I have no idea why this has such high reviews. The performer does a fine enough job, but the script is as bland as can be. Nothing is gained or learned. Nothing of interest happens. The main character is boring. Don't bother. *spoliers* High school girl talks to herself while walking across country. Giant with her does and says nothing. Naive to think that if the military was concerned enough about creature to kill it that they wouldn't do it because a single person *might* be harmed or killed in the process. Also inconsistent. Girl mentions at one point that if they shot it while she is on its head, that she would be killed when it fell...then goes on to say that if she jumped down she would break her leg.

OK but left wanting more
Maybe I just had too high of expectations based on all the positive reviews. This series was neither hot nor cold but simply lukewarm for me. I know I was supposed to grow fond of the main character but I never really did. So overall impression can be summed up in one word: meh...

The Behemoth
I loved this so much. I wish the episodes were like 2 hours long. Such a great story

Why?
Terrible. No story at all. Would give no stars if I could. Waste of time.

A beautifully crafted story
The images conjured while listening to this production are wonderful! Such a great production.

Well-crafted radio drama
Well-crafted and unique radio drama that hooks you from the get go. The vocal cast is excellent and the story gives you just enough without giving away the overall mystery. Plus, each podcast is short and easy to listen to. One of the best of the podcast dramas in recent years.

Wasn't expecting this...
I wasn't expecting much out of this podcast, why? I'm not sure. But I'm just being honest. So, I wasn't expecting much but I thought I'd give it a go. Was I surprised. This story is wonderful. I binged the first ten episodes and only stopped because my drive was over (I listen to podcasts while I drive for work). I plan on binging the rest come Monday morning.

Slow
I wanted to like this show, but it was slow and light on plot. Maddie's voice was soothing, and I liked Rick Coste at the end saying "and until then, please take care of yourself." That bit was so calming. Might have been a better show with fewer episodes with more length, but in any case, I enjoyed it.

Great little story
Production was very good and great voice acting

Love it!
Even though this is a quick story it is perfect. I listened to it all in one night. The end is very satisfying.

Magical
This story had me hooked from the first episode. Easy to listen to and an even easier story to love. Short, sweet, and very moving, I guarantee that this is worth every minute of the time it will take to finish it.

Potent Work
My favorite of Rick Coste's podcast work. I almost didn't listen to it because the episodes are so short comparatively to others. But it makes it much more potent, completely entrapping you to listen to more.

Very good!
This is very good and I have enjoyed listening to it with my kids. I was disappointed that there were several instances of explicit language that I would prefer to avoid or at least have some warning.

Love this story!
After listening to the Thrilling Adventure Hour, Welcome to Night Vale, Alice Isn't Dead, and Within the Wires a few times each, I was in search of another awesome story. This show was a bit of a surprise after a few diappointing selections, and I recommend it to all my fellow Night Valians--if you light the weird little town of Night Vale, you're going to like the Behemoth!

Absolutely wonderful
Short sweet and absolutely wonderful. Reminded me sort of the iron giant

Utter dissapointment
A very shaky start, a solid middle, and a highly dissapointing ending. SPOILER ALERT Nothing happens. Literally nothing happens at the end. There is dramatic build and build to nothing. The Behemoth just goes back into the sea and the world goes back to normal. No explanation as to the connection between the protagonist and the creature, no long term ramifications, just a walk across the country. When the final chapter came i felt cheated.

I'm loving this!
I haven't finished it yet, but this podcast is both adorable and suspenseful. I think it would make a great comic tbh. I'll have to check out more of the creator's work.

Hi hot entertaining.
Rather short episodes unfortunately, but very very interesting nonetheless! You've got a fan, and I am off to subscribe to your other podcasts!

Addicting
Started listening to this because it sounded interesting and figured that less than 10 minutes for the first episode wasn't a commitment. 10 episodes later I'm totally addicted. Love the narrator, love the story, love the format!

Great Show!
Binged listened to this on the drive to work and while at work. Just an all around great podcast. The story is so good and engaging that I could see this being either a live action (CGI Behomoth) or an animated feature. It's that good. Well done, Mr. Coste and everyone else involved.

Very well done
The story is minimalistic, but it is done very well. I loved the music and the acting. It's somewhat reminiscent of a Miyazaki film. Give it a shot!

Worthy Of 'Outer Limits'...
...the original 60's version. ***OVERVIEW*** This is brilliant...just brilliant! The opening music sets the mood instantly. The short run times for each episode keep your ears glued to your headphones, as the story is just Shangri La! ***THE WALK*** 14 yr. old Madyson and a giant she names Max walk across the country together, trying to avoid the military (who are bent on destroying the silent behemoth). The duo are extremely sympathetic: you'll root for them on their journey to who-knows-where and pray for their safety. ***THE NARRATIVE*** Emotional investment is created due to Elizabeth Liu (Loo?)- the terrific narrator, cast as Madyson. She has a really nice voice and clearly came at the top of her Voice Acting class because she sells the whole premise of the story and makes it entirely believable. "The Behemoth" is a cause for celebration in the podcasting world.

what an amazing concept and execution of the narrative was lovely! i hope to see more like this from Rick Coste.

A fascinating tale to the Maximilian
At first glance (the glance being the title and picture of this podcast), I thought this would be a second rate monster story of attacks & gore & not much substance. Nothing could be further from the truth. The story is more about society's reaction to the unknown than it is about a monster and a girl. I encourage listeners to give this story a try --it's well worth your time.

Really Digging it!
Took me a couple episodes to get the rythym of the story.. but I'm digging.. I play two episodes on my ride into work every few days.. I don't want to catch up too fast! Highly recommended. I may be more partial to it since it begins in my neck of woods.. Massachusetts. I'll definitly keep an ear out for any future projects from Rick and the gang.

Awesome and Unique
This show is wonderfully written and the acting is great, I binged watched (listened?) to it all day and I can't wait for more (I love the two main characters, they're adorable companions) and it kinda reminds me of the Iron Giant sorta, though it definitely has its own story. Despite having some tough stuff/themes in it it remains to be fun and lighthearted. A++ would recommend.

Part Audio Book, Part Audio Drama
One of the only Audio Dramas around that seem to be aimed at a YA audience. Very Iron Giant, but with enough to make it it's own entity.

an incredibly addictive listen
i absolutely love this podcast! its a very well written story, with great production quality... and Madyson is awesome! i cant recommend it enough

Great story telling!!!
I just bumped into this one. I will be followg it now... I do a sci-fi audio drama (Caalo Xan) and I know it can be tough to have a believable teenage girl with just enough angst without forcing it. This narrator nails it!

Must Listen!
Recently found this and I'm so glad that I did! The listener is thrown right into the story from episode 1 and it keeps you hooked.

Tiny Updates About an Enormous Creature
Really interesting format to this one—short bits that bring you into discrete moments of the narrator’s journey alongside the Behemoth. It’s surprisingly effective, reinforcing the diary-like tone of the narration. A lovely, surreal journey.
