Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach and Charlie Day as Luigi also delivered strong performances, and their chemistry as the famous plumber brothers was a joy to watch. The movie's animation and special effects were also stunning. The CGI rendering of the Mushroom Kingdom and its inhabitants was both vibrant and immersive, capturing the whimsical nature of the games in a way that felt true to the source material. The various action sequences throughout the movie were also visually stunning, and the use of various power-ups and items added an extra layer of excitement to the film. The movie's sense of humor was spot-on. It strikes a balance between silly and clever, with plenty of nods and references to the games that fans of the franchise will appreciate. There are also plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that will have both kids and adults chuckling. We highly recommend Super Mario Bros: The Movie as a fun and entertaining watch. With its talented cast, impressive animation, and focus on character development, it's a movie that both longtime fans of the games and newcomers to the franchise can enjoy.
