We often associate the holidays with family and fun festivities, but not everyone shares that same experience. Many people in the LGBTQ community are sadly disconnected from their blood families, and can often find the holidays to be stressful and/or depressing. This is why you will tend to see members of the LGBTQ community form what are called "Chosen Families". Together with my guest host Adam Barkhouse, we discuss what a Chosen family is, why they are formed, and how they can make the holidays feel like they are intended to be.
