In this episode we chat with one of Houston's best muralist Floyd Mendoza III. This young man has had a sharp rise to the top of the HTOWN art scene. Just to demonstrate how small a world we live in Floyd is the son of a friend from many years ago. I had zero clue that the energetic kid running around with a cheese stick at the ball park would grow up to be one of the city's respected artist. Join us as we chat about his rise, mentors, mentality, and a whole host of other questions. Please continue to support the show by subscribing.

On this episode we sit and chat with one of my favorite students and national champion wrestler Mason Milsaps. This episode was a long time coming, a year plus to be exact. As a 7th grader Mason had pleaded with me to let him on the podcast so he could share his story. I told him that we could bring him back his junior or senior year after he had won some state titles. Fast forward a little bit and this young man has done quite a bit more than that. He will be off next week to compete at the world games representing the red, white, and blue. Before he left we made it a point to bring him in studio and chop it up. This incredible young man is more than just a personality and a good wrestler. He recently lost his mother a few years back and struggles with Dyslexia. By all accounts he should be trending down and has every excuse to not be doing good. To no one's surprise though he has bounced back and used his hardships as a springboard for success. I wanted to honor this young man by sharing his story with the world and hope you guys enjoy listening to it just as much as I had interviewing him. We wish you luck Mason on your upcoming competition. There is not a doubt in anyone's mind that knows you that you will be successful in capturing your dreams. Please keep Mason on your radar because this young man is going places. Love you kid.

On this episode we chat with the GOAT in the Jiu Jitsu documentary scene Stuart Cooper. I can remember being a young man who was full of piss and vinegar. I was on a mission to become the best BJJ player the world had ever seen. Part of the reason I was so obsessed with the game was because of a man by the name of Stuart Cooper. His short films were so masterfully done that I was all in on the sport. His abiity to capture the perfect shot and have these legends tell their stories was life changing. 15 years later I still watch his youtube channel if I need a pinch of inspiration. On this podcast I was able to pick his brain and learn the genisis of this great man. His journey is equally enthralling and hopefully one day someone will tell his story. Until then our podcast will have to do, lol. Huge thank you Stuart for gifting us with a bit of your time. I had a blast and hopefully we can do it again.
