The horns and buzzers used for filler are very annoying. I would prefer a shorter show than the excruciating horns and buzzers.

From the cheesy PowerPoint sounds to the non stop talking about nothing I can’t take this show. You get a sliver of info then the rest is just filler. I tried to give it a go multiple times. I don’t know how Malcom and others do this show. I’ll stick to their podcasts. Atleast we get information there.

How anyone can listen to this is beyond me. The sound effects, yelling and screaming is ridiculous.

Radio is dying no one listens to it anymore yet this moron takes a podcast and makes it radio format when he could do so much more and his retarted insistence on high quality audio when no one can tell the difference is a joke

Greg Rempe brings a great variety of guests to this entertaining and informative podcast, mixing food, equipment, recipes, and fun each week. He tosses in topics like cigars and music, and runs a tight ship. There’s something for all live fire cooking fans.

This show is fantastic, informative and entertaining,love it. Please leave politics and wokeness out of the show, it sometimes sneaks it’s way in unfortunately , particularly on the meathead segments ( which is ironic considering his sexist overtures-see January 22 episode) Let’s stick to BBQ,fun and frivolity.

Been an avid listener since 2009. Greg's guest research and show preparation leads to informative and detailed interviews with his guests, some of which are BBQ HOF'ers. Like Shawn Walchef said - 'Greg is the Michale Jordan of BBQ podcasting'. There is a reason this is top 5% of all podcasts in terms of downloads and that he has been doing it for over 14 years (the longest running BBQ podcast period).

The segment I was able to suffer through didn’t even talk about grilling or smoking once. It was rife with cheesy sound affects akin to “The Douche” radio show on Parks and Rec. Woof, that was unbearable.

While at first I was annoyed by the sound effects, I have gotten used to them and have been able to focus on the incredible content. Greg takes pride in the show and we can use more folks taking pride in what they do and the product they provide. Keep up the great work and thank you from the Half Baked Hippie in SLC Utah.

Perfect podcast for long drives in the car to make the time pass. Love all the BBQ heavyweights Greg interviews.

It’s a decent podcast. The interviews with people like Meathead and Raichlen are always informative. Rempe can be annoying when he goes off on his opinionated tantrums. He does have a good radio voice. Although,I prefer the more low key pods out there, that don’t rely on the sound effects and morning radio style of presentation. To each their own.

I’m late to the party but recently discovered your show while searching podcasts and I have to tell ya.... you’ve changed my life!! I used to mire myself in political podcasts and sank into either a rage or depression everyday. Politics will bring you down and eat you from the inside out. Best Bar B Que podcast and show out there, I’ve listened to them all and this podcast , hands down , has the best content and latest and greatest information out there available . Happy to call myself a Central lite!!

I have been an avid listener to the BBQ Central show for over 10 years. Your BBQ knowledge will increase whether you are a newbie or seasoned competitor as his wide variety of guests and listensers who ask questions keeps the information flowing and fresh. Greg also tells it like it is and is NOT afraid to voice his opinion which means unfortunately he is disqualified to be in the BBQ HOF. Only BBQ Wizard HOF for now.

Good show with some of the best guests. It’s a little to structured and some great interviews get cut short because of that.

If you can get past the fact the Greg likes ketchup on boiled hotdogs, or eats hotdogs in general, this BBQ wizard, hall-of-famer, is pretty entertaining.

Greg is a pioneer in podcasting. He started the original talk show about the world of barbecue. The show is not only about competition bbq, but geared towards the backyard cook as well. He can be rather comical as well with bits he does about his mom calling in, with his dad in the background. Give it a listen, very entertaining.
