Raffaella Falchi-Macias, founder and artistic director of Sambaxé, a Brazilian dance company rooted in community, culture, and Carnaval tradition. Raffaella is a dancer, educator, a mother, and architect, whose work bridges; movement, design, and Afro-Brazilian heritage. Alongside her hubby Alfie Macias, who’s is musical director, percussionist, and an amazing musician. Together they celebrate 20+ years of sharing Brazilian culture through dance classes, percussion classes, performances, music and dance retreats.
