‘twas the night before Christmas, when all through the shack

Not a creature was stirring, not even a shrimp,

The rods were placed by the chimney with care,

In hopes that Episode 15 would soon be here.

The anglers were nestled all snug in their boats

While visions of Outback Bowl wins danced in their heads.

And bubba with his catfish bait, and I with my nose plugged

Had just settled our jersey debate before a long winter’s rest.

When out at the Vaught there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my boat to see the LED Lightshow,

Away to the shore I sped like a shark,

Tore open the throttle, and made a big wake

The moon on the open water, still as glass

Gave the lustre of the sun during a 2:30 CBS kickoff

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature shark and eight tiny tuna’s

With a middle aged driver, so witty and dripped

I knew in the moment, it must be St. Kiff

More touchdowns than turnovers, his offense rolled up

And he whistled and shouted and called the by name...
