Welcome to Episode 14 of The Bait Shack! Sometimes when you are out on the water wetting lines you just wind up getting skunked, maybe it was the bait, maybe it was the spot, maybe it was the technique… does not matter you got skunked. That is how this weekend felt. We got beat on the hardwood and in the Tiger Swamp. Losing is never fun, losing to your rival by less than a touchdown after committing 6 turnovers and giving up 308 receiving yards to a true freshman is a tough pill to swallow knowing we were right on the doorstep until the very end even with all our miscues.For as electric and thrilling as this season was it seems like a rare monsoon in Death Valley paired with celebratory fire extinguisher discharges smothered the flames of excitement for a few hours after the clock struck zero. Now that the rain has cleared, let’s take this time to thank the players, staff, and everyone associated with our program and others to be able to give us as close to a season as possible during a global pandemic.
