Great Podcast!
Glad to see you made it back on the air. Sorry to hear about your recent losses. You put yourself out there in an honest and vulnerable way, which allows people to relate to you and shows you are real, and it makes your podcast even better. Great insight into the business of woodworking! Keep up the great work! You have a unique prospective that brings alot to the table (pun intended). Entertaining and insightful. Glad to hear your voice again! Godbless Bo Gibbs

First woodworking podcast I’ve listen to and I’m hooked
Thanks for taking the time to make the show, it has been very useful and inspiring. I’ve always loved wood working and my friends and family always told me to start a side business doing it. After hearing several of your shows I decided it was time to start and so now I have gotten a shop and have started doing some tool investing mostly bigger tools. You should definitely do an episode on advertising the work people make and different ways to sell. Thanks again for your time and keep up the great podcast

My favorite woodworking podcast.
My only complaint are there are not more but reminds me to remember to be grateful for what is accomplished while running a law firm. Please do a podcast for woodworking as a business. Thanks for your show.

I am a new listener to podcasts, but find yours to be up there with the best. You have definitely motivated me to get my area cleaned up and get back to it. Thanks a bunch.

Well Spoken, Thoughtful, and Honest!
Its great to tune in for a well spoken podcast made by someone who is still learning and finding their way in the world of woodworking. I enjoy the listening to the genuine excitement that only comes from someone who is still discovering new parts of the process. There are also tons of conversational tangents that go every which direction, and for me thats what makes this show different from a lot of woodworking shows... The host really cares about his craft, family, and community and wants to share his enthusiasm with the listener.

Good content but drags on....
I recently started listening and while the content is good and Leh is a fairly good interviewer, and can be interesting, it can take him a long, long time to get to the point. I just finished listening to the episodes on organizing your shop. On a 30-45 minute episode, he took 10-15 minutes to get to the topic, and then took so long to describe and re-describe his points. Then on the next episode, he would re-summarize and re-describe again. I'll keep listening and hope for some improvement.

Very interesting perspectives given.
I really enjoy this show. It gives a very practical and unique perspective on getting things done in the shop. Most of the shows repeat the same information and answer the same questions over and over but I have found the advice given here to be useful in more than just the shop. Thanks for the great show Leh. From a full time professional cabinet builder and also an avid woodworker John Shorba.

Making time to woodwork
Love the podcast, so please keep the episodes coming; I've been listening for several months now, and appreciate your desire to woodwork, and to make time for it, despite a rather hectic home and work life. A good balance is difficult to find, and you have some good ideas on how to keep the balance healthy. I hope you can work in specific projects, and project ideas, and sources for good woodworking tools and materials. Please keep it up! I admire your efforts!

Fantastic!
Awesome podcast. Love to hear other woodworkers take on the craft. Good to know that I am not the only one challenged to find time out of a busy schedule to spend time in the shop. Very informative with lots of good tips. Keep up the great work and look forward to hearing more.

Thumbs up!
Leh, Just happened upon this podcast and finished listening to your first episode. As a practicing engineer working 50-60hrs a week myself I can relate to the issues a work schedule coupled with spending time with the significant other can have on finding shop time..much less project time! I look forward to listening to them all and hope that you will have more to come in 2014! -Aaron

What a Great Podcast!
I guess I'd call myself an "Avid DIYer" but, come to think of it, I mostly work with wood! Leh's show has been great for me. Sure, I like to watch some HGTV to get some tips, but Leh really takes us in-depth to the issues that truly effect a woodworker to make them better organized. Unlike TV shows where our problems are solved within an unrealistic 30 minutes, the Avid Woodworker ably describes the trials and tribulations that every craftsperson goes through when dealing with their "shop." As a podcaster myself, I can also say that I know first-hand that it takes a LOT of work to produce a show that's as packed with content as The Avid Woodworker. Way to go, Leh! And the audio is as professional as you'll find anywhere, too! Keep up the great work and I look forward to your upcoming podcast with your wife. Great stuff!
