The Athlete’s Anecdote
The Athlete’s Anecdote
Jeremy Johnson
Sports have a unique way of connecting people from all sorts of backgrounds. I, myself, have gotten the chance to know several people over the course of my athletic career, but it wasn't until I sat down with them and heard their stories when I really felt like I knew them. In The Athlete’s Anecdote podcast, I dig beneath the surface with former athletes and give them the opportunity to openly talk about the experiences that have shaped their lives. You'd be surprised how much you can encourage, impact, or inspire others by simply sharing your story. - Jeremy Johnson
Episode 2: Mitch Harris's Story
In this episode, Naval officer veteran and former MLB Pitcher, Lt. Mitch Harris, joins The Athlete’s Anecdote to share his experiences at the academy, his time in the military, and his unorthodox baseball story. Mitch served 3 tours in 4 years of active duty and after that, became the first Naval Academy graduate to appear in the major leagues since 1921, being just the second ever to do so.
