In this episode I talk about the planet Ceres and its role in astrology and yoga.
Ceres is a dwarf planet found between the orbit of Mars and Jupiter. Despite being known about for over 200 years - longer than Neptune or Pluto - there seems to be no astrological tradition around Ceres. I discuss the Roman and Greek traditions around the Goddess Ceres, talk about the problems inherent in simply adopting these as astrological attributes of the planet Ceres, and then reveal my own explorations of Ceres as pertains to yoga, where Ceres plays a critical role in bringing yogic realisations to fruition. Finally, I also talk about the role of Ceres in the karmic body, and the relevance of Ceres in the coming Age of Aquarius.

In this episode of the podcast I talk about Anarchy & the Aquarian Age.
Anarchy is not something most people would associate with the Aquarian Age, mainly due to societal prejudices that condition people to interpret anarchy as something that it isn't. I spend the first part of the podcast addressing the common misconceptions of anarchy, before I then give a critique of democracy in the second part of the podcast. Most people think that democracy is a system designed to meet and represent the needs of human communities, and achieve a state of freedom, and this common propaganda is a huge obstacle to anarchy. Democracy has its foundations in oppression and exploitation; it always has done and it always will do, as it is an expression of that underlying social trauma. After explaining how democracy is not what it seems to be, I then explain what an anarchist society might look like, how anarchy comes about, and what the individual needs to do to help bring about an anarchist system in line with the societies we envision in the Aquarian Age.
Finally, I talk about the relevance of anarchy to yoga, and how anarchy is really central to yoga, and also to achieving a rebirth into the societies of the Aquarian Age.

In this episode I talk about how to utilise the synodic cycle of Venus to channel a higher Eros to raise our spiritual and emotional well-being.
I first talk about Eros or life-force, and explain the central importance of life-force in our spiritual end emotional development and well-being. I then introduce the synodic cycle of Venus, the sacred periods of this cycle where one can tune in to the astral energies, the periods of archetypal transformation in this cycle, and how synodic astrology differs from normal astrology, and can be practiced straight away even if you have no experience of astrology. Finally, I relate spiritual practices that are essential for tuning in to the higher Kundalini energies of these cycles, and beginning the journey of symbiosis and transformation of the subtle body.

In this episode I describe the subtle body and the yogic transformation.
I present empirical evidence for the subtle body and use this to demonstrate its existence, and of its relationship to the physical body. I then use this understanding to explain the yogic transformation in greater detail.

This is episode 4 of The Aquarian Age podcast. I spend most of this episode talking about the shakti, what it is, how we experience it, its importance in raising our vibration or increasing our general sense of wellbeing, and its importance in yoga.
The shakti is a type of life-force that is produced by the body, and I also talk about the general life-force produced by all things, and also the importance of the life-force to the human personality and being. Finally, I talk about the Kundalini as a specific type of life-force, a highly evolved life-force of the earth, that acts as the energetic body from which yogic attainments are birthed, but which requires the subtle energies of the galactic centre in order to come to fruition.
Correction: in the podcast I refer to the Inca, when I mean the Aztecs.

In this episode I give an introduction to the occult theory of astrology, focusing on the theory of astral rays as described by the Islamic occult philosopher Al Kindi over 1,000 years ago, and which was highly influential on western occult thought. I update this theory using the modern vernacular of physics, and especially the concept of fields, to give what I hope is a clearer account.
I then go on to talk about the influence of three celestial bodies which are critical in the Kundalini yoga that I teach. These are Jupiter, Black Moon Lillith and Uranus.

Correction: this podcast was recorded on 18th January 2021, not 2020 as I say in the podcast.
In this podcast I discuss the goal of yoga: the attainment of direct seeing.
In order to explain this attainment clearly I first talk about three Jungian concepts: that of the archetypes, the psychoid aspect of the archetypes, and the process of individuation. With those concepts established I then explain what the attainment of direct seeing is, what it means for the individual, how it is archetypal in nature, and how the goal is achieved.

This is the first episode of The Aquarian Age podcast. Apologies for the poor sound quality - some frequent tutting sounds and periodic momentary muffling of the audio. I am totally new to this so in time I will smooth out any wrinkles, but for now you'll have to bear with me. I appreciate it makes it a bit frustrating to listen to. I did think to re-record it but it struck me that the astral energies that were in play when I recorded it were an integral part of the podcast, and so for that reason I did not re-record it.
In this first episode I explain why I am calling this podcast The Aquarian Age, the type of content that I will be covering, and a short biography about myself. I recorded this podcast during the New Moon of January 2021, which was also conjunct Pluto, and which also had a lot of Uranian energy (Jupiter-Saturn-Mercury squaring Uranus, and Venus trine Uranus).
The epic Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto conjunctions of 2020, as well as their squares to Mars and the culminating Saturn-Jupiter conjunction of December 2020 will have seeded some people around the world with the germ of yogic consciousness, a germ which will begin unfolding during 2021. That final Saturn-Jupiter conjunction, occurring at the ingress of Aquarius, means that the development of this yogic potential has significance for the zodiacal Age of Aquarius that we are currently transitioning into, a transition that will take place over several centuries. This podcast is aimed at those people whose yogic potential will begin unfolding in 2021.
The content I will be covering in The Aquarian Age podcasts will assist in the unfolding of that yogic consciousness. It can be grouped under the broad heading of occult philosophy, or the philosophy of yoga, where the term philosophy is used to indicate a way of life, rather than the limited modern use of the word to denote an academic discipline. it will cover crystals and the occult theory of crystals, meditation, utilising astrology for psychic self defense and for cultivating yogic realisations, the occult theory of astrology, the detailed teachings of yoga on the nature of reality, depth psychology, the shakti and the kundalini, activism and ethics, purification and cleansing rituals, the use of astral-mandalas, shrines and talismans to harness astral energy. In short, a comprehensive guide to occult philosophy and the practice of yoga to achieve the yogic power of direct seeing: where the yogi is able to perceive reality directly.
The host of these podcast is me, Sonny Khan. I have a personal website www.aquarian-age.co.uk which contains a series of essays on yoga which is available to anyone. It is also a website where I store a lot of my own amateur photos and collage artwork. My own yogic transformation began in earnest in 2008, when Jupiter and Pluto previously conjuncted, which occurred conjunct the galactic centre and conjunct my natal Jupiter. That process of yogic transformation continued for 12 years at a Formula 1 style pace, up until the recent Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto conjunctions of 2020, where a new teaching phase, of which this podcast is one element, has begun.
