I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression on and off for most of my life and it took me awhile to accept it. I’ve had my good times where I’ve felt I’ve had a handle on it and I’ve had my bad times where I’ve felt I was never going to feel good again. When I was at my lowest point I found this podcast. I tried listening to some other ones but kept coming back to Tim. I can listen to it and completely relate to what he is saying and the stories he is sharing. I feel like I’m having a conversation with a buddy who knows what I’m going through and really wants to help. I just started a new job at a really exciting, and important but busy and stressful time. I’ve been struggling but listening to this helps a lot. Knowing I can push through and have options to get better. Also, knowing that I don’t have to feel this way all the time.

While going through a tough time, it was recommended to me to listen to an anxiety podcast. Well as bad as my anxiety is I figured I’d give it a try even though I’ve never been a podcast listening individual. After listening to a few podcast that I didn’t relate to I almost gave up, however I came across The Anxiety Podcast with Tim. This is completely what I needed. It has put me back on track and I feel like myself again after a really long time. Now instead of music playing in my car when I drive, I have The Anxiety podcast playing and I can’t say thank you enough to Tim.

Thank you for this. This is the first COVID Anxiety podcast I’ve listened to. Not sure what sparked me to listen today, 10/31/21, but it was nice to hear a rational recap of our collective feelings. I’m vaccinated. I’ve worn a mask since March 2020. (Still do, actually.) I don’t think I’m too far one way or the other. Wait, probably a bit more on the cautious side. :) I haven’t gotten my hair cut since 2/2020. I haven’t gotten a pedicure since then, either. I haven’t been inside a restaurant since 2/2020. I have been to a handful of outdoor dining/breweries. Am I cautions, yes. Do I feel like I’m “not living my life”- NO. So many people say live your life, but I’m really OK with the “reserved” version of it. Do I get antsy? Yes. Do I miss live concerts? OH MY GOD YES. My real anxiety comes from 3 places: 1. Getting COVID and it messing me up or killing me. 2. That happening to someone I love. 3. My supervisors and coworkers without regard to my personal beliefs. #3 is the toughest because I don’t have 100% control over that. It’s not fair that I can’t say “Don’t come near me without a mask.” Anyway, we’re in this together. Thanks for reminding me I’m not alone. I wish for all living things to be happy, healthy, and safe. I pray for it every night. ❤️

Helped me through the darkest time of my life
I have struggled with anxiety all of my life. After being pregnant with twins I lost one and was on hospital bed rest for 7 weeks holding the surviving twin in. He was born at 32 weeks and was in the NICU for 54 days. After witnessing this I developed horrible health anxiety. After going to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack I realized my anxiety was back in full force. I now see a therapist and listen to you daily. You have pulled me out of the most horrible experience with anxiety in my lifetime. I am very thankful for your podcast!

The best anxiety podcast hands down.
I am 21 years old and randomly started experiencing horrible anxiety about a year and 3 months ago. Since I live in the US, finding a therapist takes forever and a day. While I was waiting, I listened to this podcast daily for months on end. Some days it was all I would listen to. I still listen to this podcast at least 3 times a week and I’d recommend it to anyone. I’ve heard many of the episodes multiple times. This has really saved me and I know that sounds so dramatic but it genuinely has. So, thank you for doing what you’re doing. I only really listen to it on Spotify but I couldn’t find out how to leave a review there.

Love the panic attack ep BUT
This episode is so hugely helpful. After decades of struggling with anxiety, this is one of the very few things that helps. However, at the very end, just when I finally feel better, the audio cuts in with a wrap up/promo. I’m jolted back into feeling anxious. Is there an option to get this without that ending on the audio? Thank you!

Saves My Day
I have suffered from anxiety for most of my life but never realized it till I got in my mid 20’s and now I’m pushing 40. And dealt with it on and off through out my life till now and still do. Recently found this podcast and it helps me out GREATLY!! Especially when I’m having an anxious or stressful day at work. I put in the head phones and turn on the podcast and it makes my day MUCH BETTER. Relieves my stress and anxiety. Thanks a lot for your Podcast. Makes my life feel not that bad.

Well worth a listen!
I’ve dealt with anxiety the majority of my life. It’s an on and off again type of affair. I’ve gone stretches of a year or more where I have essentially no anxiety at all and then, sometimes out of nowhere, it explodes full force. I can’t shake it. I’ve only recently started even talking about it. My wife suggested I look at anxiety podcasts. After listening to a few different ones, I came across this one and it just clicked. I’m by no means cured but man this is a GREAT resource. It really helps put me at ease and it’s topics I can relate to. I can’t say enough good things about this podcast and I’m forever grateful that people like Tim exist to help others in something that they personally struggled with. If you’re dealing with anxiety (if you’re still reading this then I’m willing to bet you are dealing with anxiety) then give this podcast a listen. It is WELL worth it.

On my way to a better life
After 50 years of crippling anxiety i finally have hope and actual progress toward getting better. I could never control it because i didn't know what caused it and why. Not being able to afford expensive therapy i just learned to live with it , and thats not living. Been listening to Tim and his podcast for a few years now. As somebody who has dealt with anxiety/panic for 20 years now, it is good to hear somebody who is compassionate talk about the issues us anxiety sufferers deal with. If you are somebody who deals with anxiety, just take a listen. He's good.

I ‘happened’ onto one of Tim’s podcasts while researching (again...) getting over panic attacks and I was stunned there was someone who was addressing anxiety who didn’t want to prescribe me pills or psychoanalyze me or tell me to just get over it (which I’ve been told many times). New hope has arisen as I begin to listen to past podcasts and am now checking out his website. I had literally given up and had entered an acceptance phase that this is just who I am and how my life is. Thanks Tim for new hope.

I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life. More recently I’ve been working on therapy and self help. This podcast always seems to address an issue that I’m working on or that I need to be reminded of. It’s such a help to hear others experiences and have a nice little podcast to get me through the day. I’m a runner and I always look forward to listening while I’m running.

I love the excitement and enthusiasm laced through every podcast. It’s not about an instant cure, it is about knowing you’re not alone and there are tools and techniques to control your anxiety instead of it controlling you! I wish the episodes were longer. I wish I were at the same level as Tim, but I’m not and that’s okay. I do the best each day, each challenge, each attack. Baby steps if that’s all I can manage, is still moving forward. Thank you Tim. (Wish you could slow down your speech. You talk for fast because of your excitements, but for me and I’m sure others, the speed elevates my anxiety as I try to keep up). I have struggled with anxiety my entire life. Like.... crippling, can’t breath, sick to my stomach anxiety. Hot,sweaty,shaking, mind twisting anxiety. This podcast.... is so helpful. And the language used to describe episodes.... perfect. We are not £@!€# perfect. He speaks like a real person. Like the bubble over my head when I’m panicking! Lol. Good stuff. I listen everyday. Facing that monster that tries to cripple us was the best advice for me. We must be made to shine so freaking bright for that beast to try to hold us back. I am so thankful I found this. Bravo!

Very Practical
I was a bit hesitant to listen to anything based on anxiety. I wasn’t sure if the content would be relative since I feel the anxiety I experience is pretty complex. Listening to the Podcast made me realize complex is one of the many characteristics of anxiety. I found this very helpful, practical, and profound. I stumbed across Tim's podcast earlier this year during a time of big changes for me and my family, big new adventures and a whole load of anxiety. His podcasts got me through some pretty tough weeks and are now my weekly tonic. So much of what he says and the journey he's been on/is still on resonates with me and for that reason I value his thoughts and advice far more than any counsellor. His passion and enthusiasm are contagious and he brings honesty and compassion to the podcast.
