Monsterland - Season One, Episode Two: “Eugene, OR" a cogent and relevant exploration of online right wing radicalization with a supernatural horror twist that gets the first part right, but never quite lands the second part.

Tales From The Darkside - Season Two, Episode Nine: “The Trouble With Mary Jane,” a delightful little riff on The Exorcist with a bickering married couple in the priest role, and Lawrence Tierney and Phyllis Diller taking over for Max Von Sydow!

And stay tuned for The Expansionist, where I treat the episodes I reviewed as failed backdoor pilots and imagine the full series that might have been, in this case a twist on the long-running CW show Supernatural for the Trump era and a romantic comedy sitcom version of The Conjuring that treats the Warrens like the hucksters they are.
